I’ve been waiting for a longer, more comprehensive trailer for this film for a few months since first seeing the one unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con and am happy to share the offering that Legendary Pictures released yesterday. Check out the Official Final Trailer of “Kong: Skull Island” below.

The San Diego Comic Con is in full sway as you read this and when this convention happens I find myself busy tossing together posts about trailers for upcoming films or the skimpiest of teaser clips and one of the reveals was for Warner Brothers Pictures “Kong: Skull Island”. I don’t think that I have to say much about the giant ape that hasn’t already been said but I will say that this is the beginning of a connected giant monster universe and eventually Kong will face Godzilla. I know a lot of friends excited about that but right now I am on the fence. This is an early 2017 release so check it out below.
PiercingMetal Thoughts: We don’t really get a lot of Kong in this trailer so that makes me hope there is more of him in his own movie than there was of Godzilla in his last effort. I am not sure why Hollywood seems to think we want all the human drama and dynamic in a giant monster movie. I hated the romance nonsense in “Pacific Rim” and all of the back and forth to the husband and wife during “Godzilla” when there was monster action to be delivered. Get with it folks, that is what we plunk the cash down for at the end of the day. That said what do you readers think of this trailer? I have one more coming up from today so please stay tuned.
