Greetings and felicitations my fellow Geeks and welcome to PiercingMetal’s comprehensive overview of the 2019 New York Comic Con. As you might notice, this is still the Day One visuals from the massive four-day affair but I am winding down on this day and will be sharing the sights and scenes from Day Two soon enough. Make sure that you are following along from the beginning since its much more fun to do that why by clicking HERE. It will open a new tab with ALL of the New York Comic Con content. I’m still down in the Artist Alley where I was when I last talked to you and am continuing on with pics of Art Baltazar and Franco. They each work on some super cute stuff.
Greetings Geeks!!!! Welcome back to more of the wandering in the aisles of the Resorts World Casino expo floor where the 2019 WinterCon was taking over like gangbusters. I’m continuing from where I left off in Chapter 1 so be sure to visit that installment first in the event you are just joining us. This chapter has a LOT of the cosplayers that we met and I will not be naming all of them since you should know that stuff by now if you are reading this website. I will however begin with some famous names in Japanese Pop Culture with Tsugutoshi Komada and Bin Furuya. Komada played Jet Jaguar in the “Godzilla Vs. Megalon” film and my hope is that this character somehow returns in the upcoming “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” film that opens next summer. Then there is Bin Furuya who portrayed Ultraman. Arigato for the photos gentlemen.
By now you’ve probably surmised that the end of these installments is drawing near and you are correct in the assumption. Of our Day Four posts, this is the second to last one so if you’re just now joining us at the penultimate chapter of my 2018 New York Comic Con posts, I’d ask that you click HERE first to see all of the chapters that have come before this latest one. I’m in the Artist Alley a bit during this chapter so a lot of talented people to take note of and thank for their contributions to the comics medium. Most of them have their names in the photo as well to eliminate unnecessary discussion. I’ll try to find their websites, Facebook or Twitter Official accounts once all is said and done. Let’s do this.
Now that both the annual NY Comic Con and brand new Anime NYC conventions have come and gone, you’re probably thinking that you are done with this kind of event for year but you would be wrong. Yes my friends, WinterCon was here and once again being held at the spacious Resorts World Casinos in Queens. I enjoyed myself last year at the event which I documented HERE for those interested and was happy to be returning to see what this year had in store for me. As I walked over the casino floor to the main event upstairs, I met a mixed bag of creative Cosplay with some DC Villains, a Doctor and some of the X-Men. Who says we all can’t get along. Let’s go.
