The Press Release:
Phish will perform three full sets this New Year’s Eve, LIVE from the Ninth Cube. The show will be performed without an audience and will be webcast for free on Phish’s YouTube channel and LivePhish.com, with a simulcast on Phish Radio on SiriusXM. Phish will take the stage promptly at 8:30PM ET on December 31st.
This show is part of Phish’s Dinner And A Movie series, and so there shall be dinner! The recipes were chosen by the band and feature Trey’s own recipe for Lemonade, a Whole Roasted Chicken with Lemon, a Lemon Pasta vegetarian entrée, and for dessert: Lemon Bars. Recipes are below.
The DAAM series has distributed nearly $900,000 in donations via the WaterWheel Foundation since the start of the pandemic to help non-profits around the country (and beyond). Our friends at SiriusXM have generously underwritten production costs to make this webcast free, and we are hoping to come together once again as a community to support those in need. The WaterWheel Foundation will be raising money for a handful of non-profits close to the Phish community. Donate at anytime now at phish.com/waterwheel. PiercingMetal Thoughts: Historically speaking we have never ever managed to catch Phish in action but truth be told the Jam Band scene isn’t covered all that much on the PiercingMetal website. I’ll still list the dates on our Events Calendar for the readers who like to go to as many shows as possible in the year and of course, I will express my interest to the bands powers that be when we are a little closer to the happenings. Some close friends really rave about them and I’d like to see a band that I have never witnessed before when its a possible thing to do. What about you readers? Are you Phisheads (that’s the title right?) How many times have you seen them and do you go to one, two or all of the nights of their annual residency? Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time.
Hey all you Phish-Heads, the band just recently announced their Summer 2019 touring plans and you are going to want to get on the stick ASAP so you don’t miss out.
The Press Release:
Phish will hit the road this summer with a 26-date tour beginning with two-nights in St. Louis, MO, and culminating with the band’s traditional Labor Day run of shows in Commerce City, CO.
A ticket request period is currently underway at tickets.phish.com (ending Monday, January 21 at 10am ET). Tickets go on sale to the public beginning January 25.
In an effort to get tickets into the hands of fans and not bots, Phish is using Ticketmaster Verified Fan® for public on-sales sold via Ticketmaster. For the first two hours of each on-sale, a selection of the best tickets will be available for those who have received codes via Verified Fan®. Registration closes Wednesday, January 23 at 11:59pm ET. For more info, please visit verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/phish. Continue reading Phish Announces Summer Headlining Tour→
