Greetings my fellow Geeks and welcome! As the New York Comic Con gets closer to happening I am sharing another media alert that we recived regarding all of the authors and illustrators that are scheduled to attend. As with all schedules, things can change so I’d suggest looking on the day when you are attending. NWOBHM Legends Raven Announce 2017 Tour Dates

If you love live concerts and crave a dose of the pure unadultered Heavy Metal, then there is perhaps no place better to start than with the legendary Raven. The band has just announced a string of dates and I’ve thrown in all together for your awareness – Read on.

NWoBHM legends RAVEN announce the first live dates for 2017. The band is excited to go back on the road again:

“Hi there…after a longer than expected break RAVEN are ready & raring to get out on the road again…a quick warm up in the USA will be following by a Euro tour with old friends Hirax opening & we shall also be hitting the European festival
circuit hard in 2017 – and squeeze in a USA tour – and working on South America & some more exotic locales!!! LETS ALL KICK SOME ASS!!!” (John, Mark & Joe)

The current album “ExtermiNation” was released in April 2015 as a digipak version (incl. 1 bonus track), 2LP gatefold green vinyl version, download and stream through SPV/Steamhammer.

Raven Announces US “Destroy All Monsters” Tour 2015

A little while ago the email announcing the upcoming tour for the mighty Raven hit my mailbox and since we love talking about concert tours on the website I have copied the press release and the poster for you to be in the know as well. Check it out.

The Press Release:
NWOBHM legends RAVEN are that rare thing in music, true originals you can cut these guys with a razor and they will bleed true heavy metal – a more intense live band does not exist on this planet! Thus will be the case when RAVEN returns to the road in North America supporting their latest release ExtermiNation. The tour kicks off August 27th in Baltimore, MD and runs through September 9th in Vienna, VA. A complete list of dates can be found below.

New Year’s Music Resolutions For 2013: Part 7

“Happy New Year and Welcome Back!!!” Did you have a nice New Year’s Eve? Is your head still ringing like a fire bell? I will hope that it’s just a little bit of a headache and oh if you are wondering how the heck I am already up and at ’em and posting the first blog post ever for 2013 at this unholy hour wonder no more. I programmed it to go online yesterday afternoon (snicker). Ah the magic of technology. So let’s get right down to it and enjoy the continued “New Year’s Music Resolutions for 2013” from some musical greats.

1. Gogo Melone (Luna Obscura): If the world won’t destroy in December 21 which will be very odd because we already live in a destroyed world :)) then my New Year’s Music Resolution for 2013 will be to finish the recordings and everything for Luna Obscura’s new album plus my solo work “Black Silent Vision”. Both have very dark, emotional music and is the most mature stuff that we have ever write so it’s imperative need for us to share them with our fans. Let’s see 🙂
