Tonight: “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” on FX (9/12/2018)

It was only a few short days ago that I shared the trailer for the new season of AHS with their “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” and if you didn’t see that please click HERE to check that out. It looks creepy and that series begins tonight so get your DVR programmed or be home on time to see it as it broadcasts. Here is the dramatic poster which I’ve followed with the casting and brief premise.

Premise: After the nuclear apocalypse, the world’s chosen elite survive in secure outposts created by the mysterious Cooperative in “American Horror Story: Apocalypse.” On the American West Coast, Ms. Wilhemina Venable and Ms. Miriam Mead run Outpost Three with an iron fist. The unexpected arrival of Michael Langdon, a Cooperative representative determined to save society with a secret paradise, throws their order into chaos. Tonight: “American Horror Story: Freak Show” (10/8/2014)

Have you watched any off the past “American Horror Story” series when they aired over the last couple of years? There are three of them if you haven’t already dug into them and there is some seriously quirky and spooky business going on in each one. The interesting thing about the show is that each new season is a different premise and not just one long continuing storyline. What began with the “Murder House” and led us to the “Asylum” caught us in a magical web with “Coven” and here we are now with nickels in hand lining up at the circus for its latest offering “Freak Show” which airs tonight on FX (check your local listings for times). Check out the poster below that I borrowed from The Hollywood Reporter since it was nicely sized and then we can dig into the premise, cast and more.

The Plot: The fourth season will be set in Jupiter, Florida in 1952. It will be centered around one of the few remaining freak shows at the time, as its members do anything to keep the business alive. The season will focus on the conflict between the freaks and the “evil forces” who do not understand them. The season will also feature a “clown killer” and a “bearded lady”.

Airing Tonight: “American Horror Story: Coven” (10/9/2013)

The fans of the “American Horror Story” series will likely be excited as the third go round for the show airs tonight with “American Horror Story: Coven” on the FX Network. Have you looked into this show before? Check out the promotional poster below and we can take a look into the premise afterward.

The third season primarily follows the antics and events of a coven of Salem descendants who reside within a boarding school, Miss Robichaux’s Academy, centered in New Orleans, Louisiana. The academy is run by Headmistress Cordelia Foxx, who has always lived in the shadow of her mother, Fiona Goode. Fiona is the Coven’s “Supreme”, a witch born every generation who embodies countless gifts and magical abilities, namely, the Seven Wonders of Witchcraft; the Supreme is the head of the Coven. Danger lurks inside the academy’s past due to the mysterious butler Spalding and his relationship with Fiona. The entire coven is assessed and evaluated by the Council of Witchcraft, which includes Fiona’s old rival and Cordelia’s mother figure, Myrtle Snow. Airing Tonight: “American Horror Story: Asylum” (10/17/2012)

Hey my fiends, did you enjoy last years “American Horror Story” at all? Well if you did, the series has returned and the season premieres this evening on the FX Channel. For the East Coast its on at 10PM but the rest of you might want to check your local listings, provided you have the channel that is. I’ve added the creepy poster here for you along with premise and casting. Check it out.

The Plot: The second season follows the patients, doctors and nuns who occupy Briarcliff Mental Institution in Massachusetts in 1964, intercut with scenes from the present. Sister Jude and Sister Mary Eunice maintain the institution that was founded by Monsignor Timothy Howard to treat and house the mentally and criminally insane. Psychiatrist Dr. Oliver Thredson and scientist Dr. Arthur Arden treat the patients within the facility. The patients, many of whom claim to be unjustly institutionalized, include lesbian journalist Lana Winters, accused serial killer Kit Walker, and alleged murderer Grace Bertrand.
