At the time of this Editorial Wrap, the 2025 edition of the New York Comic Con finished up a little over a month ago and as our more dedicated readers know, I did a whole lot of posts from this years convention. In addition to a comprehensive day by day walkthrough, I did a number of comic book industry announcements and even embedded our Exhibitor Interviews that were resident on our Official YouTube Channel. Initially I wasn’t going to do a closing editorial piece but I felt that I should do it based on the changing tides at the event. I’ve been one of the media attendees since 2010 and have been fortunate enough to join into the fun in a professional capacity but nowadays in attention to competitors in this space, one has to deal with the wide variety of Influencer types along with those who mostly talk a good game and yet never seem to deliver when all was said and done. I’m sure you’ve met some of those types along the way and especially if you are truly working the scene as a scribe, photographer or social media maven. Moving along, I’m excited to share some of the background details on this years adventure but will do it after one of my photos from the convention.
