It would seem that the DC Fandome is all about reveals and one of the films that the fans are looking forward to in the coming future is “The Suicide Squad”, its a bit of a sequel to the original film and seems to have kept the same name but added a “the” to mark the difference. The film comes care of James Gunn who most of you know from “The Guardians Of The Galaxy” and now its time to see how he does a DC Extended Universe film. Sadly, this universe has been an uneven one but hopes are high for the upcoming “Wonder Woman 1984” film. This post is loaded with poster reveals so let’s begin with the Official Teaser and then past the premise and casting I will share the character ones. Enjoy and I will see you again at the close.

The future is a bleak landscape that is ruled by the technological tyranny of Skynet and despite this horrible scenario there are forces at work that seek to change that this ever happened. For years we have enjoyed watching “Ahhnold” as The Terminator who was reprogrammed to aid mankind thanks to the efforts of John Connor and now the next chapter in this thrilling mythology is here. Well, he did say “I’ll be back” after all. Check out the poster and some premise for this tale below and if you missed our post about the trailer just click HERE to see it.
Partial Plot:
In 2029, John Connor, leader of the human resistance, leads the war against the machines. Well, he did say “I’ll be back!” on numerous occasions and with that being said let me just get it out there that the trailer for the upcoming “Terminator: Genisys” film made its first appearance just a little while ago today. Check out the spiffy, and very Metal looking logo design 🙂
I’ve copied the premise from the film’s Wiki entry for you to indulge upon but don’t worry I will do this again on the day of opening in the post that reminds you that its time to snag a ticket to the movie theater. Here we go.
Premise:The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John’s fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever. On the verge of winning the war against Skynet, Connor sends his trusted lieutenant Kyle Reese back through time to save his mother’s life and ensure his own existence. But what he finds on the other side is like nothing he ever expected. After being orphaned at age 9 by a Terminator, Sarah Connor has since been brought up by another Terminator, played by Schwarzenegger, programmed to protect her. This Terminator has then trained her to face her destiny, which she adamantly tries to reject.
I’ll speak more about this upon the opening and will leave you with the link to the films Wiki so you an absorb more information about the release in terms of the full cast and any cameos that might happen. Just be aware that when it does open this kind of link is rife with spoiler information.
I’ve embedded some links to the other coolness in the “Terminator” film franchise for you to peruse just in case you don’t already have them in your collection.
I’ll admit that I really didn’t know much about this upcoming film “I, Frankenstein” which opens today but when I saw the trailers felt that it reminded me enough of the “Underworld” trilogy of films that it would be up my alley. I am a big fan of the Horror and Science-Fiction genres of film and this had a little bit of superhero action to its premise. At least this is what I thought when I saw the trailer.
Premise: Frankenstein’s monster, named Adam and having taken the surname of his creator, becomes involved in a war between two immortal clans in an ancient city; written and directed by Stuart Beattie, based on the graphic novel and original screenplay by Kevin Grevioux (taken from the film’s Wikipedia entry).
The Cast:
Aaron Eckhart as Adam Frankenstein
Bill Nighy as Naberius
Yvonne Strahovski as Terra
Miranda Otto as Leonore, Queen of the Gargoyles
Socratis Otto as Zuriel
Jai Courtney as Gideon, Leader of the Gargoyle Army
Kevin Grevioux as Dekar
Steve Mouzakis as Helek
Aden Young as Dr. Victor Frankenstein, Adam’s Creator
Deniz Akdeniz as Barachel
Virginie Le Brun as Elizabeth Frankenstein
Goran D. Kleut as Rekem
Another part that appealed to me was the idea of Frankenstein as an action here. We saw that not too long ago in DC Comics “The New 52” title “Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E.” so I feel this would be a fun film to see. Will you be checking out this film when it opens today or perhaps wait until on Netflix or HBO.
