“It is such an exciting time at The CW. We are thriving, innovating, and now we’re expanding, adding Sunday nights to our primetime lineup this fall. Starting in October, we will have 12 hours of original scripted series on our schedule – more than any other broadcast network besides CBS,” said Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW.

“And we have five bold, brash new shows for 2018-19: in the fall, a new version of the beloved fan favorite series CHARMED; the inspiring drama ALL AMERICAN; and LEGACIES, set in the world of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’; and for midseason, the unique new drama IN THE DARK; and the epic romance ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO. Tonight: “iZombie” Season 4 Premiere on The CW (2/26/2018)

We’ve been keeping you readers informed on some of the latest tours that will be heading our way in the coming months but now its time to give something back to the homebodies that are among us and share that the fourth season premiere for The CW Network’s “iZombie” is airing tonight. The series follows the adventures of your friendly neighborhood zombie Liv Moore and you should check your local listings for the times so you don’t miss it. I’ve followed the brand new poster with some show premise and main cast. Take a look.

The Premise: Seattle medical resident Olivia “Liv” Moore is turned into a zombie while attending a boat party. She abandons her career and breaks up with her fiancé, much to the disappointment and puzzlement of her family. She discovers that if she does not periodically satisfy her new appetite for brains, she starts turning into a stereotypical zombie, stupid and homicidal. Instead of feeding by killing innocent people, Liv decides to take a job at the King County morgue and eat the brains of the corpses she autopsies. Her secret is guessed by her boss, Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti. Ravi soon becomes Liv’s friend and confidant, and as a scientist, he is intrigued by her condition. Liv finds out that whenever she eats a dead person’s brain, she temporarily inherits some of their personality traits and experiences flashbacks of their life. Those visions are generally triggered by sights (events or objects) or sounds (repeated sentences). In the case of murder victims, the flashbacks offer clues about their killers. Liv decides to use this new ability to help Police Detective Clive Babineaux solve the crimes, passing herself off as a psychic, Meanwhile, Ravi works to develop a cure for Liv’s affliction, in the hope that one day she will be able to resume her former life. Though today might be PiercingMetal’s 12th Anniversary, it’s still business as usual here at the Metal Media Command HQ because resting on ones laurels is not something there is any time for. Not when there is a whole lot of music coming our way and season premieres such as the third time around for The CW Network’s “iZombie”. The series premiere for the new season begins tonight on The CW. Check your own local listings for times.

Did you watch “iZombie” when it premiered last season my dear comic book series loving readers or did you let it pass you by? I didn’t know what to expect as I was not a devout reader of the title even though some friends in the illustrious DC Comics company had given me several issues and some trade paperback editions of it and at the end of the day I found the show to be quite a bit of fun. The second season starts tonight and airs after “The Flash” so check out the poster, the premise and the cast and then we can talk about it a little more.

In order for Liv to survive, Ravi encourages her to eat the brains of murder victims who are delivered to the morgue. Whenever she eats a victim’s brain, Liv inherits some of their personality traits temporarily. She also experiences flashbacks which often give her clues as to the nature of the murder. Liv uses this new ability to help the Seattle Police Department solve crimes, passing herself off as a psychic consultant.
