The next superhero feature to come to the small screen comes care of an animated series presentation of Image Comics “Invincible”. The series will begin streaming in late March on the Amazon Prime service and the first trailer was just recently released. I’ve been sharing these “variant covers” items for several months now and a LOT of them have been coming from the Image Comics/Skybound Entertainment side of the fence in honor of the companies 25th Anniversary. This batch seems to be a different celebration entirely and the different covers on these eight issues can be learned about via the press release that is provided below. As usual I’m posting this a couple of weeks before they hit the stands so they remain in your memory and can be inquired about when you hit your local retailer on New Comic Book Day. Dig in.

Image/Skybound Entertainment introduces Italian comic artist Lorenzo De Felici to the United States market in a big way with Skybound’s line-wide variant covers which will hit stores this September. De Felici is the artist of a new, soon-to-be-announced, ongoing Skybound series sure to be a major hit with fans and critics alike upon its launch.

The fine folks at Image Comics continue to deliver some truly interesting things in honor of the companies 25th Anniversary. We’ve seen some $.25 cent issues and some other variants that paid homage to the founding titles. This April we are going to find some fooling around taking place as they introduce “11” April Fool’s Day covers. These are “8” of them.

I’ve been raising a glass in honor of the 2017 25th Anniversary of Image Comics and it wasn’t too long ago that I shared the press release about their special homage variant covers that will be happening in February. Yesterday they unveiled the final four covers that are coming next month and since the copy refreshed the memory on the first bunch I am adding those images back in as well for good measure.
