Earlier today the nominees for the 2021 Grammy Awards were announced and I always like to dissect that lengthy summary to spotlight what has been nominated for the music that we are more in tune with here on the PiercingMetal website. That means I am taking the Rock, Metal and Alternative out of the pile and putting it on the side for your edification. Here now are the Grammy nominations for these categories which I culled from their resources directly.

Best Rock Performance – For new vocal or instrumental solo, duo/group or collaborative rock recordings.

In This Moment Announce “The In Between” Headlining Tour For 2020

To say that this has been one of the busiest Monday’s in my music reporting memory would be an understatement. So far we’ve had tour announcements about The Black Crowes, Ozzy Osbourne and Alter Bridge along with an announcement about the upcoming Anime NYC. Now it’s time to see what’s happening with the In This Moment camp. Check it out.

The Press Release:
In This Moment have announced their first tour plans for 2020. The band will hit the road this spring on a headline tour, dubbed “The In Between Tour.” Support will come from Black Veil Brides, DED, and Raven Black. All dates are below. Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 15 at 10am local time.

Disturbed Announce Second Leg Of “Evolution” Tour

Monday was off to a good start if you were a Disturbed fan because it was only a short time ago that the band announced the second leg of their “Evolution” Tour. Read on down through the full press release and mark down the dates that are happening near you.

The Press Release:
After kicking off the year with a North American tour that saw them playing to more than 200,000 frenzied fans, 2-time Grammy nominees DISTURBED have announced a much-anticipated second leg of arena shows set to begin July 21st at the Mankato Civic Center in Mankato, MN. Select shows on the tour will feature special guests Pop Evil or In This Moment (see itinerary below for specific dates/info).

Tickets for Disturbed’s tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 29th at 10:00AM local time at http://www.disturbed1.com/tour. Citi is the official presale credit card for the tour, and Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Wednesday, March 27th at 10:00AM local time until Thursday, March 28th at 10:00PM local time. Every ticket purchased online for Disturbed includes your choice of a CD or digital copy of the band’s latest album, Evolution. You’ll receive instructions via email on how to redeem your album after ticket purchase. A limited number of VIP tickets will also be available.
