Exhibitor YouTube “Shorts” From New York Comic Con 2025

So technically speaking, I’ve just finished up on all of the heavy lifting in terms of the coverage from last months New York Comic Con. It was my 15th straight year attending as a member of the media and formatting and posting every little thing that I wanted to share with you took quite a bit of time. That’s fine by me of course because I’ve always been of the mindset that while some feel that “less is more”, I think that “more is more” is a better idea when it comes to such a massive happening. After loading up all of the day by day posts, industry announcements and special features along with every single one of our exhibitor interviews I felt that I had truly delivered an experience like few others in my role would do. In the last of the video embedded posts it dawned on me that the short form videos received a lot of traction during the convention which finds me bringing your attention to all of the Shorts that I posted on our Official YouTube Channel. Having used all of the arrival briefs in the posts from the day by day stuff they were omitted from this feature. So before I continue I will ask you to click HERE first in case you missed anything. Doing that will load up every single post that relates to NYCC 2025. Now let’s have some short form video fun that I will begin with my pre-convention clip about bag prep.

The Press Release:
Join G-Force to fight the greatest kaiju of all time when IDW Games releases the first-ever Godzilla Tabletop Roleplaying Game! Launching next March with a Kickstarter campaign, Godzilla: The Roleplaying Game, reunites three Warhammer gaming legends – Jervis Johnson, Mark A. Latham, and Gav Thorpe for their first co-created tabletop game! Godzilla puts a team of players in the midst of kaiju attacks with character sheets, collaboration, and playing cards as their tools to defend humanity. This unique new game system uses standard 52-card decks, rather than dice. Fans can sign up for more information on IDW Games HERE.

“When IDW first approached me about working on a role-playing game system, I was cautious until I found out that the game would be based on their fantastic Godzilla comics — at which point I immediately said “Yes please, count me in!” Godzilla: The Roleplaying Game is the first time I’ve had a chance to help design a fully-fledged RPG, and doing so with Gav and Mark and the IDW creative team has been a fantastic experience. I am really pleased with the way that the game system has come together, especially the way that using cards instead of dice has allowed us to include a number of novel game mechanics in the game system,” shares co-creator Jervis Johnson (Warhammer). “I’ve had a soft-spot for Godzilla ever since I was about eight years old and my mum took me to see Son of Godzilla. I liked it so much I made her stay at the cinema so I could watch the film a second time! As you can imagine, this means that getting to work on the Godzilla roleplaying game is a childhood dream come true for me.”
