Hey there and we are back to the remaining videos from Metallica from their now hours away from arriving “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct” album. This is the 10th overall video clip done for the new release and the 7th that was unveiled over these last two days. It comes care of the creative minds of Herring and Herring. Take a look.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: The visual narrative of this one is pretty cool and the song a slow and VERY long one that clocks in past the eight-minute mark. The band setting is a big open space loaded with people who encircle them and it at first reminded me of the Nirvana video “Smells Like Teen Spirit” only without the various costumes and characters. Here we just have an ample crowd and Metallica who are all smiles during the tune as they are clearly having a lot of fun. The story inside the clip follows a young woman getting ready for her day which seems to end in a sort of Fight Club. So we get lots of fighting action while the crowd goes crazy. It ends as it begins which I am feeling amounts to her living this type of life as a routine day in and day out. Interesting stuff.
