Butcher Babies Will Join Megadeth On ‘Dystopia’ North American Tour

Hey there my dear readers, so it wasn’t too long ago that I was discussing the Megadeth tour with you right here on the website and since that time a few things have happened. The first and rather surprising news was that the band Havok was removed from the tour based on differences with the contract about the run of dates. That sucks since I feel Havok is one of the more exciting of the up and coming bands that is out there. The new news is that Butcher Babies is joining onto the tour so if you are a fan of the band this should make you a happy camper and if you’re not…….well. The press details about this are below so dig in. I’ll be back after it all.

BUTCHER BABIES have announced that they will be hitting the road with the legendary Megadeth this Fall as part of the band’s Dystopia tour in North America. Also joining them will be Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, and Metal Church. The month long tour starts in Casper, WY on September 20 and concludes on October 16 in Camden, NJ. In addition to the tour, both Butcher Babies and Megadeth will be performing at this year’s “Ozzfest Meets Knotfest” event, which takes place on September 24 & 25 in San Bernardino, CA

Speak about their enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, Butcher Babies vocalist Heidi Shepherd states, “We’re incredibly honored to join forces with some of our idols, legendary musicians and bands! Megadeth is a staple in metal music and we can’t think of a better way to round out our 2016 touring schedule than with these metal gods. Who didn’t grow up with a Megadeth poster glued to your wall with dreams of dreams of sharing the stage with them. Bucket list… Check!”

Cradle Of Filth Announce North American Headlining Tour for 2016!

Now here is some news to start off your Metal November, it seems that Cradle Of Filth will be returning to the States in early 2016 to unleash their latest Metal opus on the masses in a take no prisoners tour that features Butcher Babies and Ne Obliviscaris. Check out the poster and the provided press release. Then I will return with some thoughts on it all.

Barbarous hellhounds CRADLE OF FILTH, will return to North America in 2016 with the “Inquisitional Torture” tour. Joining them will be NE OBLIVISCARIS and BUTCHER BABIES as support.

“CRADLE OF FILTH’s latest album, Hammer of the Witches, was brought to fruition in Britain’s Witch County, in darkest rural Suffolk at the reputedly haunted Grindstone Studios. The album’s title is named after the ‘Malleus Maleficarum,’ a medieval document of guidelines regarding the persecution and torture of witches – but CRADLE OF FILTH’s title version is more retributory: It’s the Hammer of the Witches; the hammer is in the witches’ hands and it’s payback time.

Amaranthe & Butcher Babies Team Up For Fall 2015 “Massive Collision” Tour

I’ve enjoyed the music of Amaranthe for a couple of years now and was happy to see the announcement about their Fall 2015 Tour even though I had only seen them a few months ago at the Gramercy Theatre. Hey there readers, it’s time for me to use my “Upcoming Tours” category for something a little bit different this time as it was just a little while ago that I received a press notice about the sequel for “The Devil’s Carnival” which was a short film that I attended a couple of years ago. The sequel is out and entitled “Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival” and below you will find the colorful poster and the press release for the new films showcasing tour. I know I could have placed this in my “On Screen” area but since I currently only want one category per story this one made the most sense to me  I’ll return with some thoughts afterward, get thee reading.
