Anime NYC Issues Heath and Safety Policies For 2022 Event

It wasn’t that long ago when we got the Health & Safety Update for the rapidly approaching New York Comic Con and if you missed that overview you can click HERE to review it. Just a short time ago we learned of the guidelines for the big Anime NYC event that happens in November. I’ve secured the images in their Facebook announcement and will line out below in text for good measure.

* Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test is required
* Face coverings are required
* Full into at animenyc.com/coronavirus

We know government requirements have lessened, but we also know our goal is to create a safe experience for all, and in determining our policies, we spoke with local health experts as well as our fans, publishers and guests, and we believe our policies are what is right for the Anime NYC community.

New York Comic Con Issues Health and Safety Update For 2022 Event

The organizing powers that be for the famed New York Comic Con have issued a Health & Safety update regarding this year’s event. While you aren’t required to show proof of vaccination like you did in 2021, you WILL need to wear a protective face covering. Check out the full statement regarding the news down below.

The Press Release:
Our team has come to a decision regarding our Health & Safety policy for this year. We will be requiring approved face coverings for New York Comic Con 2022 throughout all areas of the show, and we are strongly recommending the use of high-quality masks, such as a certified N95, KN95 or KN94 mask.

Update: Anime NYC COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy Details

The Press Release:
Anime NYC announced in August an overview of our Proof of Vaccination and Face Covering requirements (outlined HERE ICYMI), and since then we’ve received a number of questions. Today, we want to share a detailed version of this policy. The following is of October 4, 2021, and it will be updated as new guidance becomes available. Anime NYC is working closely with the Javits Center, New York City, and New York State to create the safest experience possible for all attendees, exhibitors, and guests.

COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIRED
All attendees, exhibitors, guests, staff, crew, and all others 12-years-old or older entering the Javits Center for Anime NYC must show proof of vaccination. This is per the City of New York’s Key to NYC (click HERE) initiative in place across all restaurants, museums, theaters, and all other indoor venues throughout New York City.

Leftfield Media Lines Out “Anime NYC” Vaccination & Mask Update

Throughout the year, Anime NYC has worked closely with the Javits Center and New York City and New York State officials to assure we run this November as a safe and healthy event. We tremendously appreciate their guidance, and we wish to share the latest from NYC with you today. On August 3, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced proof of vaccination will be required to participate in indoor events across NYC. The full details from the City will be coming later this month, but we want to make sure we share an overview with you immediately. As of now, the following will be required to participate in this year’s Anime NYC…

• Proof of Vaccination for all Anime NYC Participants
• Required Mask Usage for all Anime NYC Participants

New York Comic Con Releases Health and Safety Update

Last month, we helped share the news from ReedPOP about the 2021 New York Comic Con badges being completely sold out (seen HERE in case you missed it). Now we return with an update on said convention based on the news and regulations being issued only yesterday. I snagged the images from their Facebook and will NOT be typing the text over since its pretty clear to the eye.
