As you know full well if you are a longer tenured reader of the PiercingMetal website, we just love the movies and have greatly expanded our Pop Culture focus over the last few years. Hey, the release of over a dozen superhero films will tend to make that happen when all is said and done ;p – Initially, I shared the first trailer for “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” over on “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” and you can click HERE to see that one and lend our other website a little traffic love. Today I’m here to focus on the same film which has just revealed its final trailer. Let’s take a look and hold onto your hats since this looks exciting.

Premise: Still on the run following his assassination of Santino D’Antonio in the Continental, and with a $14 million global contract on him, Jonathan “John” Wick is banned from every Continental service, which forces him to fight his way out of New York City with the help of a hitwoman who still trusts him.

Opening Today: “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” (5/23/2014)

The fate of Mutantkind’s future lies deep within its past as X-Men of all generations and teams unite for battle in “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” which opens up in theaters everywhere today. I’ve been a fan of the X-Men comics franchise for many years and have so far seen all of the films so this one interests me quite a bit. The Premise: X-Men: Days of Future Past is a 2014 superhero film directed and co-produced by Bryan Singer and written by Simon Kinberg from a story by Kinberg, Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn. The film is based on the fictional X-Men characters that appear in Marvel Comics and is the seventh installment of the X-Men film series, the sequel to both X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) and X-Men: First Class (2011). The story, inspired by the 1981 Uncanny X-Men storyline “Days of Future Past” by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, focuses on two time periods, with Wolverine traveling back in time to 1973 to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.

With two weeks or so until the release of the 20th Century Fox film “X-Men: Days Of Future Past”, I felt that it was a good time as any to share a whole bunch of character promotional posters. Some you might have seen already here on the website, but the rest should be new to your eyes. I will start out with the Official Theatrical Poster and keep to adding the premise and ensemble casting to the posts so you go in fully armed. We’re just about a month away from the release of “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” in theaters everywhere and I’ve discussed this 20th Century Fox feature a couple of times already. Clicking HERE will bring up the whole shebang so far in the event you missed anything and to also give you a reference point for anything that should come after this. 20th Century Fox: “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” Official Trailer 2

It’s been quite a few months since we got our first glimpse of the upcoming 20th Century Fox feature “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” (discussed HERE if you like to be on top of all the discussions) and I did enjoy that clip quite a bit. Generally speaking the second clip shines a little more light on the film and despite my reservations on seeing too much from the film, I like to think these companies know what they are doing.
