Presenting The 44th Annual Saturn Awards Winners

saturn awards logo

It was a few short months ago that I shared the nominees for the 44th Annual Saturn Awards. It was my very first time showcasing these particular awards in our narratives but with my continuing to serve up as much of the proper geek stuff in our Pop Culture focuses, this celebration fits right in. The winners were all revealed yesterday so check out who won out in the eyes of the votes in this committee. That’s the folks from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films in case you forgot. To make this an easier list to digest, I’ve left the nominees rundown in as well so you can see who won big out of the batch. It’s very likely that some of your favorites won while others did not. Let’s check it out. I’ll come back at the close for a few additional thoughts.

The situation deteriorates when all the bodies disappear from the morgue. Goodweather and a small group of helpers find themselves battling to protect not only their own loved ones, but the entire city, from an ancient threat to humanity.

Airing Tonight: “The Strain” (7/13/2014)

You’ll have to pardon me for not knowing all that much about this particular show outside of the “coming soon” scenes that I caught while watching the recent “Fargo” show on FX, but that being said, tonight is the debut episode of Guillermo del Toro’s “The Strain”.
