The 67th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be airing soon on CBS and while there will be a wealth of awards being given out for numerous categories on the live broadcast, it seems as though the Rock, Metal & Alternative Fields are announced beforehand and not be given out live. With that being the case I’m sharing these winners of these categories with our PiercingMetal readership so they can relax themselves and not worry about needing to tune in to the live show. May I have the envelope please…

At the time of this writing and publishing the post, the 66th Grammy Awards are already in progress on CBS and while I am not watching the proceedings I am able to share with you all the artists that won the “Rock and Metal” categories. They were revealed to the masses online and not a part of the show because why would anyone want to see Rock Artists on the program after all. Take a look and please enjoy that I’ve kept on including the Alternative categories as well.
The 65th Grammy Awards ceremony is underway and believe it or not, the Rock and Alternative category winners have already been announced so we are sharing them with you down below.
Best Rock Performance:
So Happy It Hurts – Bryan Adams
Old Man – Beck
Wild Child – The Black Keys WINNER – Broken Horses – Brandi Carlile

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards Winners have been revealed in a lengthy list of categories and we’ve discussed that over on “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” earlier this morning. This post is to shine a keen focus on the categories that interest our demographic of readers the most and those are the Rock and Metal ones. Since it was easy to present in this fashion, I’ve once again included all the nominees for these same categories but I omitted the “Best Music Video” in the winner list since ACDC did NOT go home with the trophy. Now let’s take a look at these winners, may I have the envelope please.
Best Rock Performance: For new vocal or instrumental solo, duo/group or collaborative rock recordings.
As expected, the winner’s circle for the Rock, Metal and Alternative categories of the Grammy Awards were doled out during pre-broadcast ceremonies and with nothing being done in person this time around I guess this was all via Zoom, Facebook Live or maybe even WhatsApp. I don’t watch the show myself but do secure the full winner’s rundown for “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” website and that will post later on tonight since it’s a lot of editing to make work out. You Rockers don’t have to wait that long and can peruse the list before getting to the latest chapter in “The Walking Dead” saga or whatever else you might be watching on a Sunday night. May I have the envelope please….
