Golden Robot Records Signs Rock Legends Vanilla Fudge

Golden Robot Records are extremely proud to announce the signing of the legendary Vanilla Fudge. To celebrate this announcement, Vanilla Fudge will drop a remastered version of their cover of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song on 22 September.

“Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin is one of the monster tracks of all time. How do you top that? Well, you can’t but we decided to just have fun with it. I came up with this On Green Dolphin Street kinda chord progression as the intro on the synth with a heavy-duty brass sound that worked pretty well. The guys fell into it right quick and it rocks the house. Carmine did a great job with the drum track and Tim and Vince killed it. I did the vocals in Florida and sent it back to Carmine in Los Angeles and he mixed it. Hope you dig it.”

This Just In: King’s X European Tour Cancelled Due to Family Emergency

The Press Release:
It is with deepest apologies, that KING’S X must announce that the band will be cancelling their upcoming European Tour, including their appearance at the Veruno Prog Rock Festival in Italy, due to a family emergency.

Says KING’S X, “We are truly heartbroken that we will not be able to see all of our European fans, as we have been clamoring for these dates since we announced them. We would like to let the fans and all those concerned that the band is okay. Please respect the band’s privacy and please give us some time. We are doing everything in our power to reschedule the tour for 2020.”

More news to come on rescheduled dates. Tickets will remain valid for the new dates or refunds can be obtained from the point of sale.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve been a fan of the band for many years and I know that a lot of our readers are as well so let’s keep the good energy flowing in their direction to help them during this obviously critical time. Golden Robot Records is pleased to welcome guitar legend John Sykes to their already impressive roster of artists. John recently signed a worldwide deal with Golden Robot Records, which will see his long anticipated forthcoming new album released later this year. Sykes is now part of an international roster that includes such iconic artists as Skid Row, King’s X, Gilby Clarke, Guns ’N’ Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed, Little Caesar, RavenEye, The Lazys and the all star A New Revenge which features Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, Keri Kelli, Rudy Sarzo and James Kottak. Golden Robot Records is also home to an incredible line up of Australian acts, led by Rose Tattoo, The Superjesus and Misex and featuring Steve Kilbey, Palace Of The King, Jailbirds, Fyre Byrd, The Kids, Destrends, Flickertail and many more.

As we recover from the crowd-crushing madness that is the NY Comic Con, I’m making my way through press releases and wanted to share this update about the legendary rockers in Kings X. Check it out.

Australia’s leading international independent record label, Golden Robot Records, continues to grow at an unprecedented pace. The label is absolutely thrilled to announce that globally revered, Billboard-charting rock icons KING’S X are now part of their ever-growing international roster. KING’S X recently signed a global deal with Golden Robot Records which will see their long-awaited forthcoming new album released worldwide in 2019 via Golden Robot Records’ partners in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

“I’m really excited to release the next KING’S X album with Mark, Derek and the crew at Golden Robot! May the groove be with us all,” says vocalist/bassist dUg Pinnick. Guitarist Ty Tabor adds, “I’m looking forward to working with Golden Robot Records!”
