I’m not sure that I mentioned this when I discussed the return of the Ghostbusters with “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” a few years ago but to refresh the memory, I’ve always found the franchise to my liking. From the original films, to the animated series to their returns. Their latest adventures come via “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” and Sony Pictures has just dropped the Official Teaser trailer for us to see. Some casting and premise are down below as well. Check it out.

The Premise: In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family decide to leave Summerville, Oklahoma and go back to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – and help the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level! But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age. (c/o Sony)

When we first discussed the topic of the continuation of the “Ghostbusters” franchise with “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” it was way back in December of 2019 (as seen HERE). At the time we were getting ready to welcome what was sure to be a bountiful year of to do in 2020. Then 2020 began and while it started out alright by March was an international disaster based on the global pandemic. Now as the world slowly rises to more sense of normal, a second Official Trailer has been revealed and we we prepare to enjoy it I ask you all once more “Who you gonna call?”

The Premise: A single mother and her two children move to Oklahoma after inheriting property from a previously unknown relative. They discover their family’s legacy to the original Ghostbusters, who have become something of a myth as many have long-since forgotten the events of the “Manhattan Crossrip of 1984”.
