Hello again my fine-feathered geeks and welcome back to yet another post from the comprehensive coverage of the 2023 New York Comic Con. You’ve safely arrived at the first installment from the Day Three part of the adventure and that means its the Saturday of the event. Historically speaking, this is one of the most crowded days of the whole affair but that never manages to slow me down. As I’ve mentioned in each of the preceding first chapters of the days, this is my 13th straight year of attendance in an official capacity as media and while its exhausting to do this much running around I still love it. Now I should mention that I am not running around in a cosplay of any kind and instead am sporting a different Metal or comic book shirt across the days. Today I’m sporting a cool “Star Wars” comic book cover shirt that I got from Walmart when I visited the folks over the summer. I wore a KISS shirt yesterday since as many know who read my posts they are my absolute favorite. With this kind of event, I feel its better to start from the beginning. When I walked in today I was greeted by Darth Vader and a couple of troopers who were doing some outreach for the 501st Legion. I’d look into this but I sadly feel I’m a little short for a Stormtrooper. IYKYK 😉

Well my friends we have made it safety and somewhat soundly to the fourth and final day of the 2022 New York Comic Con and I cannot believe how fast the days have gone by. Calendar wise the convention ended over a week ago but our presentations keep on posting until we’ve finished with everything. So Day Four is historically known as the “Family Day” and this means that children under a certain age can come in with a special “Kids Pass”. That also means that its now even more crowded on the Sunday than used to only be found on the Saturday session. Now if you are only just joining us we are going to hold up a “You Shall Not Pass” sign and instead suggest that you click HERE to launch a new browser tab with all of the posts that have preceded this one. You’ll thank me later for sure. So today I’ve arrived before the doors were even open because I was on the hunt for the 9th and final Topps “Garbage Pail Kids” trading card. I will have this card if its the last thing that I do LOL.
Soon after the doors opened I raced to Topps and got that coveted card and then did a quick errand for a friend of mine. Now it was time to announce our presence for the day like I’ve been doing in the short clips. For those new to the program, they’ve gone to TikTok, Instagram Reels and of course YouTube which is the one I like to include in these editorials since its one of our most important networks.
