Free Comic Book Day 2021 will be celebrated at your local comic shop on August 14th, and this year Marvel Comics will release two Free Comic Book Day titles, each containing two separate stories. These exciting tales will provide perfect entry points for new readers to the thrilling ongoing sagas of the Avengers, Spider-Man, Venom, and the Hulk and give comic fans their first glimpse at the exciting new eras for their favorite characters. These issues will shape the Marvel Universe as we know it with direct connections to the year’s biggest upcoming storylines.
The current Coronavirus Pandemic is changing our way of life on a daily basis. Readers of this website know already how a number of tours and conventions that we were planning on attending have been either postponed or cancelled and now this blight has affected another fun happening, the “Free Comic Book Day” which was to be held on the first Saturday of May. As the impact and spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, Diamond Comic Distributors is aware that Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) will be impacted to varying degrees throughout the world. With that in mind, Diamond Comic Distributors has made the difficult decision to postpone the event to a date later in the Summer.

As an avid comic book reader, one of the events that I look forward to each and every year is Free Comic Book Day. For those who are just learning about this event, it takes place on the first Saturday in May and you can learn more about it via the link at the close of this narrative. “Free Comic Book Day” is currently underway and I was on point at my local retailer of Galaxy Comics in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn nice and early to take advantage of the titles being offered before any of them ran out of the supply. Let’s head inside and start browsing and making some critical choices of what to fill our bag with.
Last month I did a quick overview of the titles that interested me the most and if you feel like checking that summary out just click HERE. Fortunately all of the issues that I wanted and then some were available. Let’s examine in visual together, I will not be saying much along the way.
Today is “Free Comic Book Day” at your participating comic book retailer and its a time to rejoice and celebrate the comic book collecting hobby. There are so many awesome issues coming out on this special occasion so get to your closest place nice and early because its while supplies last.
