Fans of the Star Wars franchise were certainly excited last year when these films returned to our full on attention with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. It was the 7th film in the historic mythology and took place some thirty years after we last saw our heroes. I’m sure you’ve all seen that one by now in some fashion because the film generated a whopping $2 billion dollars in the box office. I’m sure that home video sales propelled that number higher but enough on that. Now its time to explore other parts of the Star Wars timeline with this tale that takes place after “Revenge Of The Sith” and before “A New Hope”. Check out the first revealed teaser trailer below.

The Premise:
Following the foundation of the Galactic Empire, a wayward band of Rebel fighters come together to carry out a desperate mission: to steal the plans for the Death Star before it can be used to enforce the Emperor’s rule. Edwards stated that the style of the film will be similar to that of a war film, stating, “It’s the reality of war. Good guys are bad. Bad guys are good. It’s complicated, layered; a very rich scenario in which to set a movie.”
