You readers already know how crazy we go for the Marvel Comics films over here at the PiercingMetal Command HQ and it was only moments ago that I learned that tonight on ABC, a program will air that celebrates the company’s 75th anniversary and its title is “Marvel: 75 Years From Pulp To Pop”. It’s not a surprise that I didn’t know about this show already because my DVR has been working overtime as Rocktober has finally completed and ended what amounted to a fourteen show run for me. Whew. I likely missed the commercial for this during “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” since I’m behind on a few episodes of everything. Check out the cool poster for this.

The Press Copy on the Marvel.com Site States: “2014 marks Marvel’s 75th anniversary, and as part of the celebrations fans can catch an original, hour-long primetime special of our full history from 1939 to present, plus an extraordinary peek into Marvel’s future! “Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop!” will take fans new and old alike through the decades with the people who lived them in exclusive interviews, hosted by Emily VanCamp, star of ABC’s “Revenge” and Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
What do you think? Does this sound interesting to you at all? I know I just programmed my DVR (via the Smartphone which I am LOVING the means to do by the way) and hope to enjoy this with my morning coffee. I am of course off to yet another show so no spoilers please. Especially if they show any additional scenes from “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” (which looks super awesome based on the two minute teaser we just got). OK, do let me know what you think and I shall see you next time. Check your local listings for the time that this program airs. In NYC its on at 9pm EST.
