Alice Cooper Extends “Paranormal Evening” Tour Into October

Rock icon Alice Cooper, who released his 27th album Paranormal last July via earMUSIC, has extended his previously-announced North American tour, announcing additional 2018 shows throughout October. The trek picks up again this summer, starting on August 3 in Wisconsin and now running through the end of October, including a lengthy section in Canada, from Briitish Columbia across to Ontario.

The Las Vegas (August 10) and Los Angeles (August 12) dates will feature a special guest as support — original Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley. Cooper is fresh off his critically acclaimed performance as King Herod in the live television production of Jesus Christ Superstar! The special aired on Easter Sunday on NBC and was a ratings bonanza.

Alice Cooper Announces Summer 2018 Tour

There are a lot of exciting things going on in the music scene of my Big Metal Apple in terms of shows, special signings and releases – the upcoming tours continue to get announced and here is the latest scoop from the folks working with the legendary Alice Cooper. Check it out.

Rock icon Alice Cooper, who released his 27th album Paranormal last July via earMUSIC, has announced his summer 2018 tour plans. Following on his current “A Paranormal Evening With Alice Cooper” March run, the tireless legend will embark on another North American trek. The summer tour kicks off on August 3 at the Wisconsin State Fair and winds through the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up in September.

This leg is also “A Paranormal Evening With Alice Cooper.” The Las Vegas and Los Angeles dates will feature special guest — guitarist Ace Frehley. Paranormal features special guests, such as U2’s Larry Mullen, Jr., who plays on 9 of the 12 new songs; Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top; and Deep Purple’s Roger Glover, as well as a highly anticipated mini-reunion of the original Alice Cooper band members.

Okay so I am not going to lie to you and say that I love adding a Christmas themed review to the website before Halloween has even hit us but here we are with the debut single from that Finnish vocal sensation Tarja Turunen. Most of you readers know her sonic register from the early Nightwish albums but since that time she’s been a prolific solo performer and has released numerous albums. Some of the releases have been Hard Rock with a twist of Metal and others are more Classical in nature. The new album from Tarja is a Classical Christmas album called “From Spirits and Ghosts (Score For A Dark Christmas)” and the premiere track is her rendition of “O Come O Come Emmanuel”. Here are some thoughts on it.

Though my head might still be spinning from this past weekends NY Comic Con, I managed to shake off the dizzying experience with some coffee in order to share the very recently announced upcoming tour by the legendary Alice Cooper. Take a look below.

Alice Cooper has announced his early 2018 tour plans. The legendary rocker will hit the road for a North American trek, dubbed “A Paranormal Evening With Alice Cooper.” The tour kicks off on March 1 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and runs through March 29 in Indianapolis.

Cooper released Paranormal, his first album in six years and 27th overall, via earMUSIC in August. earMUSIC Signs Alice Cooper + New Album Details

We’ve surely had a lot of music and comic book stuff to bring to your attention but now its time to get back to the music and to focus some attention to one of musics original kings of darkness as the legendary Alice Cooper has just signed to earMusic. earMUSIC is proud to announce the worldwide signing of legendary shock-rocker Alice Cooper.

Paranormal, Alice Cooper’s new studio album and his first in six years, will be released on July 28, 2017 on earMUSIC as 2CD Digipak, 2LP, Limited Box Set, and Digital. The 12-track album has been recorded in Nashville with long-time collaborator Bob Ezrin and features a very special bonus CD — a mini-album consisting of three brand new songs written and recorded together with the original Alice Cooper band members Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith, and guitarist Michael Bruce, alongside carefully selected live recordings.
