There is nothing quite like the news about an exciting Metal and Hard Rock band announcing a tour to wipe away those Monday blues. With that said, here is the skinny on the summer dates that were just announced by The Dead Daisies. Read on down below.

The Press Release:
THE DEAD DAISIES are returning to North America! After a Sold-Out Tour across the UK & Europe, the band are looking forward to rocking out with their US & Canadian fans! Their current single “RISE UP” is climbing the US-Active Rock Charts and being used extensively in NASCAR promotional campaigns across the country. The guys are also happy to announce that an old friend of the Daisies, Dizzy Reed, is bringing his band HOOKERS & BLOW along as the Tour’s Special Guest.

THE DEAD DAISIES are currently on the final leg of their UK & European Burn It Down Tour where they just shot a music video for the band’s next single “DEAD AND GONE” at Black Box Music (Rammstein, 30 Seconds To Mars, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson) in Berlin before finishing in Milan on May 9th.

Win A Ticket For Dead Daisies At Highline Ballroom On 8/17/2017

The Details: One of the most exciting bands to hit the stages over the last year or so has got to be the Dead Daisies. Their sound is rocking and brings the love of the Hard Rock vibe to life with each and every song that they deliver. They are fronted by Jon Corabi who some of you might remember from Motley Crue and even The Scream if you were paying proper attention back in the day and he is joined by a cadre of awesome players that include Doug Aldrich who played with Whitesnake for a few years. They’ve just released an amazing live album and this show at the Highline Ballroom is going to raise the bar in terms of a quality Rock Show. Thanks to the fine folks in the Marketing Division of the venue, we are proud to be putting some of our ardent readers into this show for free. Check out the details on how to participate.

When and Where: Thursday, August 17th @ Highline Ballroom (431 W 16th St, NYC)

To Participate: I’ve decided to keep this an easy one and by saying that I mean I will be sticking to my usual formula of you readers giving me “3” things that you like most about the band if you have heard them already and if you are a newbie just give me “3” things that you are most interested in about their performance. Perhaps there are albums that “spoke” to you or concert appearances that sent you to the music shop to snag some of the band members earlier works. Just give me three solid answers and how important it is to be at this show. I know I make you work but I work here too so whining will not win out at all LOL. Make this good reading because the stuff remains on the website and can likely inspire new fans as well on how our freebies work. Writing “because they rock dude” is just too un-original and boring. I’ll be responding to the comments that I like most right below their answer. Kindly review some guidelines before entering your submission.

Pledge To The Rock w “We’re An American Band” (Official Video) by Dead Daisies

It’s Independence Day here in the USA and I wasn’t really planning on doing much in the way of website posting since this is a good day to reflect on our nation and the freedoms that we have. It’s also a great day to spend with the loved ones be they closer or distant family and friends. However when a valued press resource shared the existence of a new live video from the Dead Daisies that fell right in line with the day I knew that bringing it to your attention was paramount. I’ll start with the bands statement on the clip and then follow said video with some closing thoughts.

“We first did “American Band” by Grand Funk Railroad for our troops in South Korea. We wanted to bring a little bit of something “American” to our men and women in uniform, and give them a taste of home. So, what better way than a classic American tune by a legendary American band. The song went over so well we decided to keep playing it and subsequently recorded it for our “Live and Louder” album. Enjoy the Daisies version, the video, and your FREEDOM the troops are fighting for on this celebration of our independence as a young, sovereign nation!!!”

Dead Daisies Announce “The Dirty Dozen” US Tour

There have been so many awesome things going on to bring to your attention between new amazing movie trailers and comic book stuff along with the always coming at us tour announcements. With that last one being something of a constant let me not dance around but instead share the news about the Dead Daisies “Dirty Dozen” tour. Dig in people.

The Press Release:
THE DEAD DAISIES’ awesome live juggernaut is set to storm into North America in August for a dozen prime live dates as part of their Live & Louder World Tour, in support of the release of their landmark ‘Live And Louder’ album on Spitfire Music/SPV/eOne on May 19th. Heralded “The Dirty Dozen Tour”, the trek is set to kick off in Chicago, IL on August 10th and will wrap in Las Vegas, NV on August 27th.

“The Dirty Dozen Tour” is inspired by the classic 1960s movie of the same name. “Rehearse them, Excite them, Arm them – then turn them loose on the Fans!” It will be the band’s first North American Headline Tour where demand has been steadily building after 2016’s smash success of their third album “Make Some Noise”.

“Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” (Single) by The Dead Daisies

I’m in a holiday, gift-giving sort of mood this evening and was so glad to see this notice from the folks working the media magic behind The Dead Daisies. It seems that the guys have recorded an acoustic version of John Lennon’s classic “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” while on tour and I’m sharing the bands official words and then the song itself. Dig it.

“This one’s for you… The Daisies have been overwhelmed by the great fan reactions throughout the year and especially on this last tour. So when they found themselves in a Christmas spirit in Vienna the other day, they recorded a special treat in Doug’s hotel room. This is a gift for you, the best fans in the world. Happy XMas & Happy Holidays from The Dead Daisies!”

I’ve always loved this track myself and think that the band did an outstanding job on it. Its super nice of them to offer it up for free and I am sure those of you who are more technically savvy will know how to save this to your respective music library or cloud service. Had this been an actual for sale single I would have stressed that you lay down the sufficient coin to own your own legit version. Nice work Dead Daisies, I look forward to seeing you rock the venues again in 2017. Merry Christmas.
