Continuing along from where we left off in the previous installment, I say “Welcome Back” my friends to the continued and oh so comprehensive covering of the 2023 New York Comic Con which recently took over NYC at the Javits Center. I’m now on the Day Two offerings and up to the second chapter so I won’t dance around too much longer in the introduction. I’ve still a lot to showcase from Day Two and through it all have been posting to Instagram and doing interviews for the YouTube Channel. You might recall that I closed up last time by heading back into the fray and these first couple of photos show you just that. If you’re just now joining us though I am going to ask that you click HERE first to see ALL of our NYCC 2023 posts in a new window. That lets you start at the beginning which is the best place to begin when it comes to the way I present this stuff. Here we go.
PiercingMetal was in attendance at the 2022 New York Comic Con at the Javits Center and during the exploration did a series of one on one chats with the creative people we met. All of the videos are presented on our Official YouTube Channel and this post brings several of them together in one place to add to the overall coverage as featured on the website.
Greetings my fellow geeks we are back with another exciting installment from our in-depth exploration of the New York Comic Con for 2021. I’m still on the Day Two features but if you’ve only just arrived I suggest you click HERE to see all that’s come before. I parse this adventure out over numerous chapters and days to deliver the maximum and lets begin with this Rey from Star Wars cosplay.
Here are two of the Con Exclusive covers for two series from Merc Magazine. Now I don’t know all that much about these characters but maybe I will do a video with a staffer who can explain in greater detail.
Alright so are you still with me or have you had enough? Good, I knew you had it in you. So here I am once more with another chapter in a seemingly never-ending batch of presentations from the 2016 NY Comic Con. I’m up to Part Three of Day Three (which sounds kind of nice to say) and I’m in the Artist Alley area still so a lot of awesome people who bring you the comics stuff to enjoy. If you are just now joining into the proceedings please click on THIS LINK first since it will bring you a rundown of all the chapters that have been posted before this one. Day Three is the Saturday session of the NYCC and often the most congested in the Main Expo floor so its a general practice of mine to be in Artist Alley for this one. A lot of the artists have their names in the images so I don’t need to chime in unless I feel it necessary. Here we go.
The “I Want My 80s Concert” will land in MSG’s beautiful theater area and bring us back to that wonderful decade in music with help from Jessie’s Girl, Lou Gramm, Dee Snider, Howard Jones, DMC, Debbie Gibson, Tone Loc, Tiffany, A Flock of Seagulls, Harlem Gospel Choir and Martha Quinn. This is going to be a fun show for sure.
