PiercingMetal Thoughts: I loved the live action “Guardians” film without any question and think that since purchasing the Blu-ray release of it have watched it about ten more times. Its that good. Now since I grew up on the classic Marvel Animated series’ from back in the day, well in re-runs at least when it came to the old “Spider-Man” and “Fantastic Four” shows and I loved them. I was also a big fan of the “Fantastic Four” that brought us H.E.R.B.I.E. instead of Human Torch along with “Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends” and of course “X-Men”. I never bought into the whole mindset of being too old for cartoons. Not these ones at least and that makes me welcome this new “GOTG” series with open arms. Yeah it might not be setting up anything for the future sequel but who cares. Let’s let Marvel have a connected animated universe too if they like to generate more attention to the properties and the potential comic books that these shows seem to get these days. What do you think my dear readers? Will you be tuning in to this series or at least check out a few episodes before you write it off? Let me know in the comments.
