PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve always said that one’s health is more important than any of this other stuff and as I realize on an almost daily basis that the indestructability of my youth has faded for aches and pains, wish Jeff the swiftest of recovery and rest so he can get back into performance shape. Get well soon Jeff.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I probably mentioned this before but I have been into the music of STP ever since my cousin first played them for me with he debut album so many years ago. Yet despite this early adoption, I never managed to see them in concert during those times and I regret that oversight when Scott was at the microphone. It was only in the most recent years that I caught them on the stage. The first time was a set at a Rock Carnival a few years ago with Chester singing but I wasn’t able to kick back and rock out since it was a working scenario for the Metal Command. I did catch them in Brooklyn last summer and it was fantastic and I was amazed at how many songs that I liked. I am going to be looking forward to seeing the gig in February when they come a calling. What do you think about this news? Are you down? Chime in below in the comments. See you next time.

Clearly this news is going to generate more Internet “he said, she said” than the Dream Theater, Queensryche and Slayer camps combined.
