Last year, the DC Universe streaming service offered up a live-action series for the hit comic book “Swamp Thing” and this would air exclusively on said network even though a wide assortment of DC Comics superheroes have shows on The CW Network. Now, with the DC Universe moving away from such programming, the series is getting new life on the network and here is a season trailer to enjoy.

The Premise: Abby Arcane returns home to Houma, Louisiana to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, where she develops a bond with scientist Alec Holland. After Holland tragically dies, Arcane discovers the mysteries of the swamp and that Holland may not be dead after all.

It wasn’t too long ago that I shared the first trailer from the Warner Brothers Television series “The Doom Patrol” and if you didn’t see that yet just click HERE. The interesting thing about that is that the trailer was shared on the HBO Max service while the show will be premiering here on the DC Universe streaming service at the same time. Yes it’s a bit confusing, but WB owns HBO and they are really putting a lot of their cards on the table with the service to make it like their own Netflix and Hulu in some sense. Anyway, without further adieu, the second season of “Doom Patrol” begins streaming today on the DC Universe service and some episodes on HBO Max as well. Check out the poster, premise and casting down below.

With the notion of quarantine on everyone’s mind you sure do have plenty of time to stay on websites as opposed to going outside. I’d rather know that you are being safe as well so don’t go out. The new season of yon series begins its streaming today and remember, this is not a binge show in the fashion we are used to and is instead being released episodically each and every week. Check out the colorful poster and the massive ensemble voice casting.
