Hello again my comic book reading folks of the readership of this here website; It’s time to continue the delivery of what is happening on the illustrated pages and this post covers what is coming from DC Comics side of the fence. I’m going to keep my introduction brief since it’s been an exhausting few days for me here at the PiercingMetal Media Command HQ but before you worry, please don’t as nothing bad is going on. There is just a sense of hyper-productivity going on and there are a lot of items to call to your attention from the last few days. That being said let’s take a look at the first issues and special editions hitting the racks from DC this month.
“Justice League/Aquaman: Drowned Earth” #1

Hey there readers and before we get into this chapter please know we are a little more than 24 hours away from this years NY Comic Con and I am going to repeat myself for those just learning about us with this post, that I am once again attending this massive event. It’s hot and humid outside and has been raining on and off (if you are living in NYC at least) and this is the perfect weather to stockpile a bunch of comics and enjoy the colorful adventures of some incredible heroes and villains. There is some cool stuff coming from DC Comics this month so sit back and enjoy a coffee or chocolate milk and peruse the awesome. From the look of it, it seems like the folks at DC Comics are going to send us into the summer with a whole lot of reading based on the rundown of newly launching titles this month. I’ve also heard some rumbling that a title-wide relaunch is being planned in similar fashion to what Marvel Comics is doing. Speaking frankly, I don’t really agree with that being done since so much good has been coming out since the demise of “The New 52” but I digress. Here we go with the official PR copy and images and my normal editorial overview afterward.
