Good morning my friends and welcome back to the visual recap of the 2015 NY Comic Con. I’m now up to the second chapter of the Day Three part of the adventuring which is the Saturday session and as historically confirmed is the busiest and most populated day of the massive event. I’ll begin with this charming Atlantean couple who you know as Aquaman and Mera. King and Queen of Atlantis. Welcome your Highness.
The other day I had the pleasure of attending the opening ceremonies for the photographic presentation by D. Randall Blythe, lead singer of the crushing band Lamb Of God. It would be held in The Sacred Gallery, a nicely sized space connected to Sacred Tattoo in Chinatown, NYC. Below is the Event Announcement for your reference.
As I am no stranger to this kind of event having done reports on “The Beatles 1964” Photographs and the more recent “Dee Dee Ramone” exhibit, I felt that presenting this event in the same fashion worked best for those readers who are too far away to even hope to come but might want to dole out some cash and order one of the prints. That being said you will find the entire presentation below along with the notes that Randy himself had penned and these are all worth reading. All photographs were done by D. Randall Blythe and the same applies for the words. I’ll return towards the close of the visuals but for now please do enjoy and let these emotive works take your mind elsewhere.
Well hello again, its nice to see you back here. There is a lot to absorb here from the Day Three things at NY Comic Con so I am just going to get started with some additional adventures from my wanderings in Artist Alley. Here’s Mr. Paul Mounts, colorist supreme. At times I will note the artist if their name is not displayed but most of the cosplayers I will not since you know these outfits by now I am sure. Time to zoom zoom zoom.
We are cooking with some serious gas here my friends as I continue to steamroll through the Day Four findings of the 2013 NY Comic Con. For this chapter you will find me snapping away in the Artist Alley. My visuals will be a mixture of cosplayer and talented artists and writers. Since most of the talent have their name in the photo as well I didn’t repeat myself and type them. Their links will of course be at the end of the chapter so you can learn some more.
Greetings my friends and welcome back to the visuals that were snagged from the 2013 NY Comic Con – This chapter begins the Fourth and final day of the convention and with so much done on Day Three I was going to use today as my “clean up” day and that means touching base with made connections once more and snapping whatever else I felt might be interesting. Let’s start this one up with a spanning visual of the emblem for “Hope”, the iconic “S” that is Superman’s shield.
