Disturbed Confirm 31-Date “The Sickness” 20th Anniversary Amphitheater Tour

This morning, two-time Grammy nominated and multi-platinum band, Disturbed confirm their extensive 31-date The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour throughout North America, co-produced by Frank Productions and Live Nation. The amphitheater tour, with very special guest Staind and Bad Wolves, celebrates the two-decade anniversary of the band’s seminal album, The Sickness. On this tour, the band will perform songs off the album, as well as tracks from their most recent studio release, Evolution, and their extensive catalog. The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour will run from mid-July through mid-September, with dates in cities including Tampa, Toronto, Cincinnati, Phoenix, and Irvine (full dates below).

Tickets will go on sale Friday, Jan. 31 at 10am local time (with the exception of the Rogers, AR show which will go on-sale at 12pm local time) here. Select presales will begin Tuesday, Jan. 28. Disturbed Announce Second Leg Of “Evolution” Tour

Monday was off to a good start if you were a Disturbed fan because it was only a short time ago that the band announced the second leg of their “Evolution” Tour. Read on down through the full press release and mark down the dates that are happening near you.

The Press Release:
After kicking off the year with a North American tour that saw them playing to more than 200,000 frenzied fans, 2-time Grammy nominees DISTURBED have announced a much-anticipated second leg of arena shows set to begin July 21st at the Mankato Civic Center in Mankato, MN. Select shows on the tour will feature special guests Pop Evil or In This Moment (see itinerary below for specific dates/info).

Tickets for Disturbed’s tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 29th at 10:00AM local time at http://www.disturbed1.com/tour. Citi is the official presale credit card for the tour, and Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Wednesday, March 27th at 10:00AM local time until Thursday, March 28th at 10:00PM local time. Every ticket purchased online for Disturbed includes your choice of a CD or digital copy of the band’s latest album, Evolution. You’ll receive instructions via email on how to redeem your album after ticket purchase. A limited number of VIP tickets will also be available.

Presenting The “Gigantour 2013” Dates & Lineup

In keeping with my practice of broadcasting the occasional big touring event I wanted to direct our readers attention to the recently announced “Gigantour 2013” which many know as being the concert series that is masterminded by Dave Mustaine and his merry mates in Megadeth. I’ll have more information for you after the poster below and its jump 🙂

The Gigantour for 2013 will of course feature a headlining Megadeth and joining them for the run this year will be Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted, and Death Division. BLS needs no introduction but perhaps fans need to know a little bit more about Device (this is Dave Draiman’s new project), Hellyeah (the super group that features members of Mudvayne, Damageplan, Nothingface and Pantera) and Death Division (a band that finds Tim Yeung and Jerry Morano working together as a new face in Metal), then there is Newsted which is the band fronted by former Metallica, former Voivod and Echobrain bassist – Jason Newsted (I think his track record speaks for itself so I shall say no more); So what does everyone think of the lineup?
