Live Nation Announces “When We Were Young” Festival In October

The fine folks over at Live Nation have just announced a massive Emo-themed festival that will take place in October in Las Vegas. It also features more bands than you can shake a stick at but why would you do that to some talented musicians anyway. Here is their brief press copy along with the poster. Dashboard Confessional Announces Summer Headline Tour

While this one isn’t the most “METAL” of concert tour announcements, when it comes from a press angle you have known for a decade you lend a little hand. That said, here is the Summer skinny from the guys in Dashboard Confessional. Dig in.

DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL will be hitting the road once again this summer on a cross-country trek. In tow will be All American Rejects and The Maine. In addition, The Social Animals will be tagging along for a week of dates. The tour kicks off at OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA on July 13^th and will conclude on August 15^th in Highland Park, IL (dates below).

Fan presale begins on May 10^th at 10am local time and public on sale kicks off on May 12^th at 10am local time. Fans can snag tickets early by entering the code DCAAR. In addition, Dashboard Confessional has once again partnered with CID Entertainment to offer VIP Experiences on tour.
