With Winter almost here (despite the very pleasant temperatures here on the East Coast) the tour announcements for the upcoming here are arriving in a rapid pace. I’m going to keep on announcing them so you are more in the loop with the scoop. This piece of press came by our Metal Media Desk yesterday and shares that Rivers Of Nihil will be doing a three week run with Black Fast and Dark Sermon. Rivers of Nihil announce winter headlining tour with Black Fast, Dark Sermon; After completing a North American trek with Hate Eternal, Misery Index and Beyond Creation in November, Rivers of Nihil are ready to get back on the road again – this time, with Black Fast and Dark Sermon as support! Set to kick off in February 2016, the tour marks the band’s first headlining run on the Monarchy album cycle. See below for all dates!

Six Feet Under’s “East Coast Armageddon Tour” Is Postponed :(
Wow, another tour cancellation in the same week but yes my Metal Legions, I am sad to report for those who were excited about this particular happening that the upcoming tour for Six Feet Under (labelled the “East Coast Armageddon Tour”) has been postponed. The official announcement from the band follows the tour poster below.
“Bad news…Illness of a close family member of one our band mates unfortunately has forced postponement of East Coast Armageddon until late January continuing into February. Our sincerest apologies to all of our fans. We will see you all in January.”

Alas, The Sepultura Tour Has Been Cancelled
As you read this I am sitting at my favorite Metal show launch spot Duke’s and thanks to their speedy free WiFi, I have just learned from the bands Facebook page that it is indeed the case and that Brazilian Metal legends Sepultura have cancelled their upcoming US Tour. The bands statement is below the poster…
“Due to the delay in obtaining a visa for the band to enter the United States, we regret to inform all fans that the previously announced North American tour is being cancelled. We apologize to the fans, promoters, and the bands who were going to be part of the Tsunami Of Metal tour – UNEARTH, KATAKLYSM, SCAR THE MARTYR, ANCIIENTS, and DARK SERMON.”
I know a lot of the PiercingMetal fans were psyched about attending this show in NYC in a few weeks and were also hoping that we would run a contest for it as well so it sucks to find this being the case, but the Visa issue dilemma is something that we are used by now since its happened to numerous bands that we were excited about heading here. I’ll keep the calendar updated should any rescheduling that should occur.
