Last night the winners were announced for the 5th Annual MTV Movie and TV Awards for both the Scripted and Unscripted Categories. Since so many of the scripted listings fell into the wheelhouse of our Pop Culture narratives I’ve opted to list them here for your indulgence. The Unscripted Categories and winners list are featured over on “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” and you can see that rundown by clicking HERE. Now lets get to the envelopes and the awarding of the Golden Popcorn trophies.

I was so excited about the first trailer for the “Captain America: Civil War” that I almost forget to mention that the film “Victor Frankenstein” was also opening today in theaters around the country. Check out the poster, premise and cast and then we can discuss for a moment.
Plot: Told from Igor’s perspective, it shows the troubled young assistant’s dark origins and his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Frankenstein. Through Igor’s eyes, the audience witnesses the emergence of Frankenstein as the man from the legend we know today. Eventually, their experiments get them into trouble with the authorities, and Dr. Frankenstein and Igor become fugitives as they complete their goals to use science to create life from death.
