Dallas Toler-Wade Quits Nile; Band Introduces Brian Kingsland

We got this news a little while ago which lines out the recent developments in the band Nile. Read on.

The Press Release:
Tour With OVERKILL Kicks-Off February 14th! NILE will be embarking on their next tour in support of their latest release What Should Not Be Unearthed on Feb 14, 2017. The tour will be with the legendary OVERKILL and will visit 24 cities across America. The band and would also like to announce that Dallas Toler-Wade has decided to leave the band to focus on his own plans and recordings.

This tour also marks the debut of Nile’s newest member, guitarist / vocalist BRIAN KINGSLAND. After this tour the band will is tentatively scheduled to return to Europe this Summer for a series of METAL Festivals followed by a WSNBU-Latin America tour. NILE is already working on songs for their next album which will be recorded in late 2017 for an early 2018 release. More info will be released in the coming months.

Nile’s “At The Gate Of Sethu” Tour Part 3 In 2014

Earlier in 2013, those Egyptian-themed Death Metal artisans in Nile paid a visit to NYC during their “At The Gate Of Sethu” Tour. The premise of this run was for an extended set by Nile in the form of two full sets and instead of touring with another band of note, they opted to have local support across the run of the tour. According to the bands official Facebook page announcement – “We are looking forward to touring North America once again this April and May with 27 shows supported by three of the best local bands in every market. On this tour we will play a massive set with music spanning our entire career, including several Never-Before–Heard –Live Nile Songs!”

The Scoop: The band Nile has been on a destructive Metal path since their inception in 1993 and over the last few years their impact and influence has grown more than tenfold. The bands own Metal maturity also seems to grow with each consecutive release and with their latest album “At The Gate Of Sethu”, the band continues to impress. 2013 finds them embarking on a headlining tour and the NYC appearance will find the power of both Dark Empire and Winter Nights serving as support. Last night I attended the Pentagram show over at B.B. King Blues Club and I had to say that the dank and chilly night that we experienced here in NYC was almost the perfect setting for such a show. Tonight however we were dealing with truly unseasonable “warmth” for a January and one had to think that the blazing Death Metal that we would soon enjoy inside the Gramercy Theatre was the culprit behind this. The main event for the show would be Nile who were celebrating the release of their most recent epic “Those Whom The Gods Detest” and this heavier than titanium steel release is a must have for any fan of the band and those who support the Death Metal genre with zeal. They would be joined by New York’s own Immolation who always brings the party to full tilt along with Krisiun and Dreaming Dead. Starting the whole thing off would be unsigned local openers The Judas Syndrome and here is how it went.
