Fox will be the next network to give one of the DC Comics Vertigo properties a go with the show “Lucifer” that airs its pilot episode tonight. Check out the poster, premise and cast and then we can discuss it briefly before you program your DVR.

Did you ever read DC Comics Vertigo series “Lucifer”? I remember reading a few issues since it was Neil Gaiman but I never kept up with it as I mostly preferred the costume fare when it came to my own comic book reading. Anyway, yesterday Fox released the trailer for the upcoming show that is based on this series and I have to admit it looks rather interesting. Check it out and I’ll be back.
The Premise: Lucifer is an upcoming American television series that is set to air on Fox, and it is a loose adaptation of the comic book character created by Neil Gaiman for the comic book series The Sandman and its spin-off comic book series Lucifer written by Mike Carey, both published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. The series was officially picked up on May 9, 2015 for the 2015–16 season and it is scheduled to premiere in 2016.
