Well greetings and felicitations my friends in convention land, I am happy to tell you that you have made it to the penultimate installment of the day to day coverage of the 2023 New York Comic Com. The Sunday edition of the event is known as “Family Day” and what this amounts to is a whole lot more little ones on the show floor and in the Artist Alley. For the last few years, the organizers of New York Comic Con have been permitting children up to a certain age to join their parents or guardians for free and while its always awesome to see the smiles of the younger generation of geeks, one must definitely watch their footing from the insane amount of strollers in the aisles. I’m stoked that the younger set comes into the event but I do feel that there is a certain age that they should begin this adventure because otherwise it just might be too much for them. Not that I have kids to worry about bringing along, but I don’t think one is doing any good by bringing an infant to the happening but again maybe that is just me. My first cosplayers of the convention today were more ready for an Anime event but that’s fine by me. There is such a mix of the conventional superheroes normally found at a comic convention and the Anime events these days.
