In an effort to help the medium, I am sharing the recently revealed nominees for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards for 2018. Please peruse the list and then follow the link at the close to cast your votes. You’ll have until the 18th of this month so not a lot of time. Let’s roll.

Exploring Anime NYC 2017: Day One (Part 2)

anime nyc logo

Welcome back my friends, you have arrived at Part 2 of my Day One exploration of the first-ever Anime NYC convention which was taking over a part of the Javits Center this weekend. If you want to have a handy means of seeing all posted chapters for the event just click THIS LINK as it will open a new tab on your browser with anything that was posted about the convention. So I’ve admitted my relatively ingenue status with Anime and Manga but that being said let’s get back into the mix and have some fun. I’ll chime in when and if its necessary.

So it wasn’t too long ago that I shared the nominees for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards with the readership and I am back already with the winners of these awards. Unless I am mistaken, this is the first go round for such an award and for those who don’t know much about Crunchyroll let me explain that they are a leading facilitator in the streaming of Anime content. I guess the layman might view them as the Netflix of Anime only which is pretty cool. In the interest of time, I’ve repeated the full list of nominees with the winners highlighted in the list. According to what I’ve read, almost 2 million votes were submitted and that is really awesome. Let’s get to the winners.
