As we are about six months away from the 2023 edition of the famed New York Comic Con, I like to compile videos for each of the days that were attended and load them up onto our Official YouTube. This serves a double purpose as it not only helps generate some excitement about the upcoming event but also brings some nostalgia about the previous happening to those who attended. If you didn’t see our wealth of coverage from NYCC 2022 please just click HERE to check it out.
The PiercingMetal website was once again in attendance at the awesome Anime NYC Convention that was being held at the Javits Center. While a score of photos and narrative will be posted on the website, one of the things we enjoy most about conventions is upping the content on our Official Instagram. The interested can start their journey with the image below. Please be sure to “Follow” and like as many photos as possible for good engagement.
I hope everyone who sees these photos enjoys them and thanks to all the cosplayers and vendors and artists who stopped for a moment so I could snap them. The first few are up and I am already contending with all the spammers who post comments like “DM us on @worthless_profile”. Fellow creatives should delete this without regard because they are only looking to get the attention that your photo would usually get you. Trust me on this.
Well my friends, we have arrived at the final show overview coverage of the 2022 New York Comic Con with Day Four Part Two. I thought I would have some more show stuff but the side special features stuff is all that remains (Metal band pun unintended). I’m going to continue from where I left off so let’s advise any of the new site visitors that they should be clicking HERE first to see all of these posts on one handy tab. Starting us off is Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch.
Well my friends we have made it safety and somewhat soundly to the fourth and final day of the 2022 New York Comic Con and I cannot believe how fast the days have gone by. Calendar wise the convention ended over a week ago but our presentations keep on posting until we’ve finished with everything. So Day Four is historically known as the “Family Day” and this means that children under a certain age can come in with a special “Kids Pass”. That also means that its now even more crowded on the Sunday than used to only be found on the Saturday session. Now if you are only just joining us we are going to hold up a “You Shall Not Pass” sign and instead suggest that you click HERE to launch a new browser tab with all of the posts that have preceded this one. You’ll thank me later for sure. So today I’ve arrived before the doors were even open because I was on the hunt for the 9th and final Topps “Garbage Pail Kids” trading card. I will have this card if its the last thing that I do LOL.
Soon after the doors opened I raced to Topps and got that coveted card and then did a quick errand for a friend of mine. Now it was time to announce our presence for the day like I’ve been doing in the short clips. For those new to the program, they’ve gone to TikTok, Instagram Reels and of course YouTube which is the one I like to include in these editorials since its one of our most important networks. Please consider subscribing to that to help us along.
Hello there once again my fine-feathered fans of all things geek. You have safely arrived at the comprehensive coverage of the 2022 New York Comic Con and I am now up to Day Three, Part Three which actually amounts to the last installment of this particular day. Tenured readers can start their perusal but some advice for those just finding the website, please click HERE to see everything in the order that it was posted on a brand-new browser tab. As mentioned before, this kind of event is best enjoyed from the beginning. By this point in the adventure I was feeling the burn and trying to catch up with some friends and had a close encounter with Mr. Stay Puft…
We learned that our friend Miss Cheng was going to be at one of the dealer booths so headed over to see her for a few minutes. It’s always great to have a catch up.
