Flashback: Anime NYC’s 2025 Photo Gallery Videos

Greetings my Anime and Manga loving members of the readership, I am dropping in on you nice and early to turn back the pages of times ledger to last August when the PiercingMetal High Command was once again in attendance as media for the Anime NYC convention that would be taking over the Javits Center for four days. Historically speaking, this outlet has been attending the convention since it began and the only one that we missed was the virtual event during the pandemic. Since the emails about the event still being on sale were hitting the inbox, I felt that it was the perfect time to reflect on the previous edition and our own 8th go round. To those with an interest in perusing the full on coverage from last year, they should just click HERE to launch a new browser tab that will feature absolutely every post that was done for Anime NYC 2025. These videos will have no licensed music and instead use canned YouTube Stuff to avoid copyright strikes. I’ve assembled them as Day by Day presentations and feel that it works the best. Let’s go.

Exhibitor Interviews From New York Comic Con 2025: Part Six

The 2025 edition of the New York Comic Con ended more than a month ago at the time of this posting and as mentioned a few times already in addition to the comprehensive day by day walkthroughs I did a number of exhibitor interviews and even some area overviews. While resident on the Official PiercingMetal YouTube, these video presentations have been batched together for inclusion on the website. The 2025 edition of the New York Comic Con wrapped a couple of weeks ago and in addition to a comprehensive day by day walkthrough posts, I dissected some of the photos from those days to offer up as succinct focus posts. Doing this let’s the content entertain you in a slightly different fashion and of course bumps up the overall amount of posts done for the convention. So I’m not going to lie to you about this but I really don’t read a whole lot of Manga. I do love the format as an entertainment medium but I am mostly focused on the more traditional releases from the Marvel, DC and Image side of the fence and especially when collecting.

Crunchyroll was showcasing their “Crunchyroll Manga” app to the assembled masses and this booth was quite popular with fans checking it out and learning how to sign up for it. Here’s a look at some of the booth.

Scenes From New York Comic Con 2025: Kayou and Fanhome

The 2025 New York Comic Con was a thrill ride for all those who were able to attend and as previously reported in our day by day coverage pieces, once I had finished with those I would make sure to spotlight some of the exhibitors that we had numerous photos of. Kayou is a premium collectible trading card company that originates in China and was debuting at the New York Comic Con much to the delight of the company’s fans worldwide and the properties that they brought to the show. With this introductory appearance they brought items from Tokidoki, My Little Pony and Naruto.

Scenes From New York Comic Con 2025: Day Four Part 3

Yes my friends we are here once again with another piece of the 2025 New York Comic Con puzzle. Today’s installment will actually wrap up the Day by Day observations that I have been bringing to your attention for about a week or so and this is the final one from Day Four. I’ll speak more on where we go next at the close but if you are only just now joining us I’m going to suggest that you click HERE first to load up every single post that relates to NYCC 2025. From that tab you can start from the beginning which is more fun and makes a lot of sense. This installment finds me up above the crowd where they had set up an “Influencer Only” area. These three ladies were all cosplayed up and in that section but I am afraid I don’t know their handles. Do you know or follow them? Chime in later on so I can investigate.
