We are devastated to share this news with you. “The show must go on” is in our DNA, and this is the first time in 34 years that the March event will not take place. We are now working through the ramifications of this unprecedented situation.

Each year the Emerald City Comic Con team works their hardest to do right by the thousands of fans that come together in Seattle. We want to create a space for you to gather, be yourselves and make memories with those who matter to you most. We have been closely monitoring the situation around the COVID-19 virus in Seattle, and, after many hours of conversation internally and consultation with local government officials and the tourism bureau, we have decided to move next week’s Emerald City Comic Con to Summer 2020 with date and detail announcement forthcoming. We did everything that we could to run the event as planned, but ultimately, we are following the guidance of the local public health officials indicating that conventions should now be postponed.

Following recent cancellations by major corporations, artists, record companies and studios because of the ongoing threat of the coronavirus, OZZY OSBOURNE has likewise decided to cancel his upcoming appearance at SXSW.
OSBOURNE was scheduled to attend SXSW in support of the world premiere screening of “Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne,” a two-hour documentary special exploring the many lives and decade-spanning career of the rock legend which is set to air this summer on A&E.

ATTENTION SOUTH EAST ASIA‼️ We regret to inform our beloved fans of South East Asia that due to circumstances beyond our control we must cancel our upcoming shows in Dubai, Bangkok, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore and Jakarta. Our home region of Lombardia, Italy, is in the midst of a Coronavirus outbreak. While cancelling is heartbreaking for us, everyone’s health and safety must come first and this includes our fans. We’re confident this emergency will soon be contained and we can get back on the road to you. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe. Ticket refunds are available for headline shows at points of purchase.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: And so it begins. I think fans of the tours best get ready for more news along these lines as this brand-new and apparently deadly virus starts making the rounds. So far many regions are unscathed but considering how much travel goes on and how few people pay attention to warning signs its better to be careful. Pay attention to your surroundings and do by all means wash your hands after everything. For the duration I will be adopting a positive thumbs-up method of hello as opposed to shaking anyone’s hand. Considering I am not neurotic like some of my friends this should cite how serious I am taking the growing concerns about this virus.
