We recently have been adding a lot of KISS updates to the website but they weren’t the fun kind and were instead cancellation and postponement reports as both Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons had contracted the virus and were forced to move the schedules around (seen HERE). Now its time to share the latest news that all is proceeding ahead. Take a look.
Though we’ve already been posting updates from the camp of “The Hottest Band In The World” KISS in terms of the postponements of some of the US Tour Dates for the “End Of The Road” World Tour (seen HERE) and the recently announced rescheduling of the Australian Tour, it was just revealed that additional dates have been pushed back based on their own Demon Gene Simmons contracting the virus. I’ve updated our original copy but am doing this as well since that was now five days ago.
Just a short time ago we learned that the legendary Starchild of KISS, Paul Stanley, had tested positive for the Coronavirus and we’ve shared the statement about this and the outcome of the show that was supposed to happen. Tonight’s #KISS show at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA is unfortunately postponed due to Paul Stanley testing positive for COVID. More information about show dates will be made available ASAP. Everyone on the entire tour, both band and crew, are fully vaccinated. The band and their crew have operated in a bubble independently to safeguard everyone as much as possible at each show and in between shows. The tour also has a COVID safety protocol officer on staff full-time that is ensuring everyone is closely following all CDC guidelines. Back in July we helped broadcast the news about the rescheduling of the “50 Heavy Metal Years” Tour by the legendary Judas Priest (seen HERE). Sadly, based on the world being in the state that it currently is, the band has released the statement about 2021 being a wash for their UK Dates with Ozzy Osbourne and that they hope to return to active Metal duty in 2022. Read on to their statement and check your calendars for the dates you might have been planning on doing since you’ll need to get a refund if you are in that neck of the woods.
