Hey there my fine readers, I just wanted to keep you apprised of some things that are going on with the convention circuit. So it was about the middle of May when I submitted interest once again in being present at the largest Pop Culture event of the year, the one and only New York Comic Con. Yesterday, an email from Reed Expositions arrived at the PiercingMetal in-box with the following message.
Hey there my friends, I hope that this pause in the regularly scheduled programming finds you well. So as the Summer rapidly approaches I wanted to share some information with you all. It was back in the beginning of March when I submitted my interest in taking part of the annual Anime NYC convention and just a short time ago the word came in that this outlet was once again approved as one of the attending press. The interesting thing was the lack of the actual word “approved” in the message but right after this message I’ve presented below, the invoice came that specified “press badge”. I guess everyone does this stuff differently and I don’t mind that at all. I however hav stuck to format and once again am using my quirky “Approved” logo to make the post more emphatic.
Greetings my fine readers, just cobbling together a quick update for you. It was around the middle of May when I submitted my interest in being one of the many media attendees at the biggest Pop Culture event of the year, the one and only New York Comic Con. Yesterday, an email from Reed Expositions arrived at the PiercingMetal in-box with the following message.
“Thanks for applying for a Press ticket for NYCC 2024. You have been approved for one (1) Press ticket for New York Comic Con 2024. No further action is required”
Hello there my friends, I am taking a pause out of the regularly scheduled programming to share some super cool news with you all. Back around the beginning of May, I submitted my interest in attending the massive New York Comic Con as I had been doing for the past “12” conventions. Generally speaking, an application has about a “21” day waiting period but its business days and not the weekends I’m told and just a short time ago this morning I received the following email from their team.
“You have been approved for a press ticket for New York Comic Con 2023. No further action is required. You will receive a barcode confirmation shortly. We look forward to seeing you at NYCC 2023! If you have any questions, please contact NYCC Press”
Greetings my convention adventuring readers. I’m here to share some pretty cool news with you to keep you apprised of our movements as we all continue to navigate this hopefully post-pandemic atmosphere. It was some time ago that we submitted our interest in once again being a part of the Press Corps for the sake of Geek Coverage here on the website for the always interesting Anime NYC Convention. Just a short time ago we learned that we will indeed be in attendance. Their information on the matter is below the spiffy graphic.
