Since you are reading these words you cannot actually tell that I am yelling them so let me ask you straight up “New York City Are You Ready To Get Your Geek On!!! Yes my dear readers, the moment has once again arrived and in a few short hours the New York Comic Con for 2025 will takeover the Javits Center and play host to a couple of hundred thousand like-minded friends in fandom. For the last few weeks I’ve been sharing the company announcements and new release reveals but now the day itself is here and I myself am excited to be attending for my 15th straight year in a professional capacity. It’s an honor for me to be attending this convention for as long as I have and this has been a special creative year overall with the PiercingMetal site reaching 20 years and my Piercing Ken site its own 15th. There are over 100 posts and thousands and thousands of photos from NYCC adventures since 2010 and now its time to add more to the pile. Since the early years I’ve launched into doing numerous video interviews and also bombarding some of my social media angles with visuals you’ll find at the convention all while also summarizing the happenings in day to day website posts on top of the industry alerts that we receive both pre and post convention. The New York Comic Con Press Badge is a thing to be honored and respected for having been given it so I like to deliver more content than can easily be quantified to make the organizers happy and to entertain you for as long as possible. For this year I didn’t redo my bag packing video as I had originally planned but there is a short clip on The Gram, The Tok and The Tube with what I am bringing along for the start. Now before you stress about my having done three videos please know that they are all the same clip and have been repurposed specifically for each network. The more that one does this kind of thing the more tricks that one learns to do a bigger and better job.
