The time has come. Yes my fiends, the always massive Comic-Con International: San Diego or if you prefer, the San Diego Comic-Con begins today and takes over part of the surrounding city as well as the San Diego Convention Center. For some of the industry professionals it launched last night with the Preview Night but for the major portion of the attendees, today is the day when the fun begins and while The PiercingMetal High Command will NOT be in attendance, I will be posting the reports and reveals that we find of most relevance to our readership in a rundown that can be found by clicking HERE Clicking that link will launch a new browser tab and let you peruse any of the content that has been and will be coming down the pike from the San Diego Comic-Con for 2025. Since we have such a vibrant Pop Culture section on PiercingMetal I’m most looking forward to new comic book series launches and trailers from the films that relate to our favorite things. Let’s see what happens.

Now I should mention that I have never actually attended the San Diego Comic-Con despite being very interested in doing so. It’s quite an adventure logistically and financially and with no proper sponsors or real advertiser income from the site, everything is out of pocket and one needs to be smart but I digress. I can tell you that while I am not at this one I do have the Anime NYC and New York Comic Con coming up and I’m very excited for both of those. As I wrap this up I wonder if you’re one of the diehards who will be out there in attendance at the SDCC.
