Recap Of Ozzy Osbourne’s Historic Appearance @ San Diego Comic-Con 2022

OZZY OSBOURNE made his SDCC debut this past Friday (July 22) setting a record for the largest signing of the year on the convention room floor (with fans lined up for hours) at the annual event when he teamed up with collaborator Todd McFarlane at the Stern Pinball/Rebellion Republic booth at the sold-out convention. Prior to the signing, the two revealed the artwork for the McFarlane-designed comic book (available in limited edition album packages, with details on all pre-orders here) before signing a poster of the McFarlane album artwork.

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Begins Today!!!

Hey my friends, I am going to start off by saying how jealous I am of you West Coast readers who are into the Pop Culture geek stuff we keep posting about because the Comic-Con International: San Diego begins today and we wish that we were going to one of the biggest media events of the year. If you’re like myself, its most likely that you will be in attendance and I cannot wait to see everyone’s posts on YouTube and Instagram and the others. Though we are not attending, PiercingMetal has been helping to share the announcements about the convention with posts about Ozzy Osbourne, Marvel and Image Comics along with some other coolness so please be sure to click that hyperlinked text to be in the know if you missed those posts when they first went live. One of the reasons I’m sad to not be a participant is because this is the return to being an in-person happening after a couple of years of pandemic absence.

Ozzy Osbourne To Make Comic-Con Debut

OZZY OSBOURNE will make his debut at this year’s SAN DIEGO COMIC CONVENTION (Comic-Con International) on Friday, July 22. OSBOURNE and Todd McFarlane will reveal artwork for the limited-edition special McFarlane-designed comic book (that is available that is part of some of the special edition album packages) along with a signing at the Stern Pinball/Rebellion Republic booth, further details of which will be announced soon. In addition, today the two revealed the alternate cover [image above] for the limited-edition cover variant of OSBOURNE’s new PATIENT NUMBER 9 (out September 9 on Epic) album with artwork by McFarlane and Jason Shawn Alexander.

This marks the latest collaboration with Grammy winner and multiple Grammy nominee McFarlane who recently directed the video for OZZY’s new single “Patient Number 9”). A special limited-edition black vinyl with the McFarlane artwork can be pre-ordered here.
