When I think back to the first “Nobody” film, I have to admit that I felt a little surprise at actor Bob Odenkirk being an action star. I didn’t end up seeing it during the theatrical run and waited until it was on streaming and had to say that I quite enjoyed it. Now even this film has a sequel and Universal Pictures recently dropped the trailer that I am sharing down below along with some light premise and the casting. Check it out.

The Premise: Suburban dad Hutch Mansell, a former lethal assassin, is pulled back into his violent past after thwarting a home invasion, setting off a chain of events that unravels secrets about his wife Becca’s past and his own. (c/o IMDB)

Universal Pictures Presents: “Nobody” Official Trailer

nobody movie logo, universal pictures,

There is nothing that we enjoy as much as an interesting action thriller, and while we are MOSTLY fans of the Kaiju Monsters and Superhero stuff here at the Media Command HQ, a solid smackdown flick works like a charm sometimes. When we saw the clip for Universal Pictures “Nobody” we knew we had to share this with the readership as it looks good. The film stars Bob Odenkirk from “Better Call Saul” and you can enjoy the first trailer and more down below.

The Premise: Hutch Mansell is an underestimated and mild-mannered family man, described as being unresisting to his life’s hardships. One night two thieves break into his suburban home and he declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent any serious complications. His son, Blake and wife, Becca are disappointed in Hutch and begin to drift away from him. The incident ignites his resentment about being an unsubstantial father and husband, thus awakening his suppressed skills and illuminating his dark secrets.

Before I begin this narrative I need to say that when I first heard that a Superman pre-history story about Krypton was going to be airing, I had little hopes or expectations for it. That being said, I programmed my DVR and gave it a shot and found it to be surprisingly interesting. Now that all has been said and done in the first season, the second one is on its way and the first full trailer is here to enjoy. Let’s check it out.

The Premise: Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, whose family, the House of El, has been ostracized and shamed. Seg fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

We were just finishing with the annual NY Comic Con when we last discussed the upcoming film “Mortal Engines”. Back then it was to showcase the Official 2nd Trailer which you’ll want to examine HERE before continuing along. The film opens today in theaters everywhere and comes care of Universal Pictures and the mind of Peter Jackson (you might remember him from “King Kong”, “Lord Of The Rings” and “The Hobbit” films). Take a look at the Official Theatrical poster, the premise and casting. I’ll close out with additional editorial as I usually do.

The Premise: Tom is a twenty-something Londoner who has only ever lived inside his travelling hometown, and his feet have never touched grass, mud or land. His first taste of the outside comes quite abruptly: Tom gets in the way of the masked Hester’s attempt to kill Thaddeus Valentine, a powerful man she blames for her mother’s murder, and both Hester and Tom end up thrown out of the moving “traction” city, to fend for themselves. (thanks Wiki)

Though we’re still dealing with the chaos that is New York Comic Con, there are other things to call to your attention while that is being addressed and one item to enjoy is the second Official Trailer for the upcoming film “Mortal Engines”. This Peter Jackson film is based on the book with the same name so let’s take a look.
