Happy New Year!!! It was just before the holidays when I posted a brief teaser about the upcoming Paramount Pictures Horror/Suspense film “A Quiet Place: Part II” (seen HERE) and while it wasn’t much to observe, it sure did generate a little buzz since the previous film was so well-received. Now as the brand-new 2020 year wipes the sleep from its eyes and makes a fresh cup of coffee its time to enjoy the first Official Trailer. We’ve been perusing YouTube Channels of the major film studios to make sure there wasn’t anything missing from our Pop Culture – Film and Television focuses and lo and behold there was a teaser about the sequel to the film “A Quiet Place”. The big day is finally here for the fans of the Batman franchise as “The Dark Knight Rises” opens up in theaters everywhere. The film continues and apparently completes the saga that Chris Nolan began with “Batman Begins” and continued with “The Dark Knight” and I have to admit that I never realized this was going to be a trilogy. Nolan’s Batman was grittier than any we had seen before, and even more so than the one from the 1989 film where he was played by Michael Keaton. In any event I am excited for this movie.
