Truth be told I look forward to the new Marvel Studios films more than most things that I enjoy these days. As an almost lifelong comic book fan, and a Marvel one, its been great to watch these characters fleshed out and entertaining the masses in the most bombastic of ways. The latest one is “Thor: Love and Thunder” which opens today in theaters everywhere and we’ve discussed this film before with trailer and promotional poster narratives. The world is closing in on the next exciting chapter in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe with the soon to be opening in theatres everywhere “Thor: Love and Thunder”. I touched upon this topic a couple of times before with the Teaser Trailer and the Official Trailer and now it’s time to showcase a whole bunch of promotional posters that were just released earlier today. I’ll start the fun with the teaser poster I shared in the two trailer posts and if you missed those you can just hit the highlighted text to review them as well. As usual I’ve added the premise and casting for good measure. Let’s get down to it.

Even though it was back in middle April, the first Teaser Trailer for “Thor: Love and Thunder” feels like it was much longer ago because a lot has transpired since that time. The film “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse OF Madness” has been met with resounding approval and generated more than $800M since opening. We now have trailers for “Ms. Marvel” and the “She-Hulk” as well which you can see by clicking the hyperlinked text. Now its time for a better, longer trailer for the film and and I’ve left some premise, casting and promotional artwork in for good measure. Enjoy.

While the fans of the Marvel Studios films are counting down the days until the release of “Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness”, the excitement level was also high for any kind of news about the “Thor: Love and Thunder” film that would be following it a few short months later. Now Playing: “The Dark Knight Rises” (7/20/2012)

The big day is finally here for the fans of the Batman franchise as “The Dark Knight Rises” opens up in theaters everywhere. The film continues and apparently completes the saga that Chris Nolan began with “Batman Begins” and continued with “The Dark Knight” and I have to admit that I never realized this was going to be a trilogy. Nolan’s Batman was grittier than any we had seen before, and even more so than the one from the 1989 film where he was played by Michael Keaton. In any event I am excited for this movie.
