It was only a few short weeks ago when we saw another trailer for “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” thanks to the goings on from Marvel Studios at the San Diego Comic-Con and if you missed our post about this just click HERE to see what is premiering at the time that this post has gone live. From the looks of it, this series will be a little bit more fun than we saw in the recent “Moon Knight” and probably appeal to a wider audience like “Ms. Marvel” did. Check out another poster, some premise and the casting down below.
The San Diego Comic-Con is surely delivering the goods with news about the upcoming Marvel Studios films and television shows for Disney+ for the next couple of years and while the words have been mum for the most part on properties like “X-Men” and “Fantastic Four”, we really have a lot of great stuff coming our way. The big trailer we are expecting is the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” one but before we settle in for that one here is another trailer for the soon to be airing on Disney+ series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”. Let’s take a look at that one shall we and if you feel like seeing the first trailer they released just click HERE. I’ve added the premise and expanded the cast of characters along with new art as well for this post.
The Netflix/Marvel collaboration and original series “Daredevil” (sometimes listed as “Marvel’s Daredevil”) has been cancelled by the streaming service a little more than a month after its third season became available for streaming. This one is more of a surprising cancellation since it’s the most popular of the shows and marks the third of the Netflix Original Series being shutdown with “Iron Fist” and “Luke Cage” being cancelled a month or so ago. Click their titles to see the notes about those cancellations and now more on “Daredevil” going away down below.
“Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix. We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement. “We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.”
PiercingMetal Thoughts: Well with three of the shows out of the five being cancelled I think it’s pretty safe to assume that both “The Punisher” and “Jessica Jones” will be following sometime in the near future. Let’s face it, I don’t think I was alone in thinking something larger was coming when they cancelled “Iron Fist” and “Luke Cage” and honestly each of those was only SO popular. “Daredevil” was another story altogether and probably the best of the whole lot of shows so finding it cancelled as well makes me think that there is something larger afoot here. There has been talk of an exclusive streaming service run by Disney so maybe all of the shows will be moving over to that looming network but who knows since the scoop on that is still very unclear. Of these three cancelled shows, “Daredevil” was my own favorite and I still need to finish the third season since I got busy. What did you think of the show and what about this news? Chime in down below of course because hearing from you is what this is all about.
It was only a few short weeks ago, during the NY Comic Con, that we shared the Season 3 trailer for Marvel’s “Daredevil” with the readership. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re going to want to get on that right away by clicking HERE. Now, at the time that this post is going live, you will be able to enjoy the full Season 3 in its entirety. Before you begin binge watching, let’s check out the poster, some premise and casting for the new season.
The Premise: The first season sees lawyer-by-day Matt Murdock use his heightened senses from being blinded as a young boy to fight crime at night on the streets of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood as Daredevil, while uncovering a conspiracy of the criminal underworld being led by Wilson Fisk. In the second season, Murdock continues to balance life as a lawyer and Daredevil, while crossing paths with Frank Castle/Punisher, a vigilante with far deadlier methods, as well as the return of an ex-girlfriend—Elektra Natchios. In the third season, after Fisk is released from prison, Murdock, who has been missing for months following the events of The Defenders, reemerges a broken man and must decide between hiding from the world as a lawyer, or embracing his life as a hero vigilante. The New York Comic Con is in full sway and much like what we find when SDCC is happening, there are several trailers to share with you for our mass media side of the fence. A few years ago, Netflix announced it would be offering up four singular but connected series featuring Marvel characters and everyone hoped for the best. As it stands these are all excellent entries to the larger MCU and the first one was “Daredevil”. Now, that series will find its third season premiering in the coming weeks and a full proper trailer has been revealed. Let’s watch.
